Behind The Noun: looks to share with you a brief biography of our latest feature Malick Kebe (), a 28 year old photography from the Ivory Coast and his humble beginnings.

I have been doing photography for a while, but officially started as a professional photographer in January 2019, when I felt ready to exhibit and share my art with the world on Instagram.
The seaside is my first inspiration. The beach is where I draw my creativity. I realize my photos with an iPhone, so I'm mobile and always ready to capture the beauty of the moment, near the ocean or elsewhere!

I would like to collaborate with Princejyesi and Akama Paul. I admire their photographic works, they represent for me both an inexhaustible source of inspiration. They are, so to speak, the ones who gave me a taste for photography!

I envision the future as a progressive revelation of my art. This will involve new and multiple projects, exhibitions, collaborations with brands and other artists . Here in Ivory Coast and beyond our borders!

The series speaks to the phenomenon of migrants, these people who leave their country in search of the Eldorado in Europe,
crossing the ocean by boat for the European coast in search of happiness and a success in Europe, Some of them die along the way, others sacrifice their skin and soul.

Project Description: “The project draws on the concept that in society there is an underlying presence of control and conditioning, most of which we experience as children. the child sitting alone in his astronaut suit represents the innocence & imagination we all had in our younger days.

Graphic Designer:
•••••••••••••••••••••••
Sammy is a self taught visual artist based out of Toronto. His graphic design journey began as a little hobby, just making collages on his phone from images he found online or took himself. It quickly grew into something more when he was able to acquire the proper software and really build his skill set. He takes inspiration from a lot of things; the environment he grew up and lived in, his family and friends, and the richness of Black culture.
