10! A whole decade of marriage! Wow, that went fast 🥰

My Husband surprised me with the most romantic date to celebrate 10 years of marriage. He blindfolded me and surprised me with a photoshoot, dinner and dancing at our wedding venue. He brought special items from our wedding, we watched our wedding video and cried lots of happy tears. 10 years later and somehow more deeply in love. Thank you for the best anniversary Honey 💙 I still feel like the luckiest girl in the world to be by your side.

We had such a wonderful time reminiscing because our wedding day truly was one of our favorite days. My advice is have the wedding, invite the people and spend the money. It’s a day we look back on and wish we could go back and relive every year. ❤️

True story: A Bridesmaid stopped me in the bathroom last weekend to tell me that she just got married a few months ago and that her photographer wasn’t great…and gave them no direction. What she described honestly sounded like a stressful situation (and who wants that one their wedding day?). She ended by sharing that she wishes that she would have hired me as her photographer and appreciated my approach and direction especially with large group photos. I thought it was so sweet that she took the time to share this with me I couldn’t help but wonder how many other couples feel like her after they get married? How many Brides look back at their wedding day think “wow I wish I would have hired a photographer who understands the importance of a timeline, flow of the event and how to give direction.” My biggest piece of advice if you’re currently looking for wedding vendors is to talk to people (yes human people not ChatGPT). Look for vendors that are on the venues preferred list, who your friends used and liked, and wedding planner recommendations. I recently worked with a Bride that told me she had to hire me because I was a preferred vendor at her venue, her Wedding Planner referred me and I had just done one of her coworkers’s weddings. In a saturated market make sure you do your homework to find the best fit for you and your wedding day. There are amazing wedding professionals you just have to know where to find them. If you ever need a vendor recommendation I’m always happy to share my favorites.

One thing I know for sure is that engagement photos should always be fun! It’s my goal to make you giggle, flirt and have a blast the entire time. Engagement photos truly are the photo rehearsal before the wedding day to get you two completely comfortable in front of the camera together. Where would you want your engagement photos taken? 🤍

Not sure how it’s possible, but every single wedding that I do somehow becomes the new favorite. We laughed, we cried and there was endless love coming from all sides. From the bus breaking down on the way to the wedding to the rainstorm that we thought was coming and didn’t to the huge snake on the grounds, this one was truly unforgettable. So happy for these two sweethearts that won best eyes in middle school and ended up as soulmates! Love you both! Also can I just say that the view from is insane!
