That was a hell of a week.

I still do not have the words for it. What I have is the smile it left on my face, and a few moments that gave me goosebumps and even tears of joy.

So glad to have been part of and of .co , and to have met so many talented people there, old friends and new ones.
And anESSENCE of Romania spent the week at the National Museum of Art and I am still getting used to that sentence.

It is hard to put everything I am feeling into one place, but I have to start somewhere. Thank you to .antico.31 , for putting everything and everyone together. To , for the vision, you’re such a talent. To all the people who worked so hard behind it. And to my team, who were my eyes and my hands all week, and did the hardest part.

Thank you to everyone who was part of this, in no particular order, because all of you are number one to me. I hope I am not forgetting anyone. It was an honor to be part of the fam for such an incredible week ❤️🙏

A few days ago I was in Iași. This is my third year in a row at , the charity event for the .bethany .
It slowly started to become a yearly thing for me, and I am honored and happy that I get to be part of it. These guys do such incredible work for such an incredible cause, and I am honored to call them my friends.
Through this event I made such amazing new friends, and had the beautiful surprise of running into old ones. Incredible people that I get to see once a year, like a yearly get together, here at Balul de la Castel.
So these were my 72 hours in Iași. Short, but so intense. PERSONNA, the portrait of , went into the auction that night, and the next day the first works from anESSENCE of Romania opened at .
I left just a few days ago and I already miss my Iași family. Thank you guys for everything, and hopefully we meet again next year. Mucho love!

Four names so far. Every city adds more.

Last night at Balul de La Castel I showed the first four works from anESSENCE of Romania, a project that started with a simple question: what does Romania look like if you look at it through the people who carried it forward?

It is not about a country. It is about faces. People who left and made it abroad, people who stayed and built here.

PERSONNA was auctioned last night and raised €8,000 for the Fundația Bethany . I brought a photograph into a room full of people who were already willing to give. Watching it turn into something real for the children Bethany takes care of is the best thing that can happen to a picture.

Until October 1 the works are at Centrul Internaţional De Artă Contemporană Iași , one portrait revealed each day. Bucharest in October, Los Angeles at the end of the year, and from there it keeps going. Four names for now. Every city adds more.

And it does not stop there. Every print sold from this exhibition keeps supporting Bethany Foundation work, in every city it travels to. If you were not in the room last night, you can still live with one of these. Each photograph exists in an edition of five, plus two artist’s proofs. That is all there will ever be. Link in my bio.
