I had the opportunity to teach at the first ever online version of the Stanford Jazz Workshop this summer. Not only was it incredibly inspiring for me, but it helped me reconnect the importance of learning through the arts, as well as the power of connecting as a music community...Especially during challenging times like these. I have been teaching professionally since I was 18, but the last few years it has been difficult to have students because of my hectic tour life. I've had so many inspiring teachers along the way, and I'm really excited to continue their legacy. You can't keep it unless you give it away!
