Give me all the greens 🌿

It’s been quiet over here as I recover from ACL surgery. Some days are really hard, and yes, it hurts more than I expected at times and my body is uncomfortable 24/7. But I’m getting a little stronger every day.

I’ve been so genuinely grateful for all the support, messages, and patience I’ve received so far. It’s honestly kept me going.

I’m really sad to be missing summer sessions this year. That part stings, for I love the late evenings, water sessions and beautiful sunsets, but I’m trying to trust this process, focus on healing, and take things one step at a time so I can come back better than ever this fall.

Lowkey missing Arizona 🏜️

I know my style isn’t for everybody, and that’s okay. I don’t lean into the super bright, dog front and center look. My work naturally trends a little moodier, with deeper tones and more landscape incorporated.

And honestly, that’s what makes photography so special. There isn’t just one “right” way for an image to feel. There are so many different styles, perspectives, and moods. Which allows for clients to that photographer that matches their vision and style!

Lake season is almost here and I swear there’s nothing better than watching dogs live their best lives in the water 🤍

A little bittersweet for me this year, for I’ll be spending part of peak season at home relearning how to use my knee. But I’m holding onto the end of summer and all the lake days I’ll still get!

Hi, I realized it’s been a while since I’ve posted my face on here 👋
I’m Leah, the one behind the camera, the moody vibes, and will risk my camera gear for shooting in the rain. 🐾

I also have two German Shepherds, Kaida and Kova.
Kaida is the reason I picked up a camera in the first place. She’s been the face of my brand from the beginning.

Kova, on the other hand, has taught me a lot about dog behavior, patience, and meeting dogs where they’re at. He’s reactive and wears a muzzle, and because of him, working with reactive, nervous, or sensitive dogs is just… normal for me.☺️

Your dog doesn’t have to be “perfect”, they just have to be themselves.

The fact that some of my clients wake up at 2:30am and drive over 4 hours to work with me is something I’ll never take for granted…I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully express how much that means. It’s such an honor to create these moments together.

Rainy days = the BEST days for photos 🌧✨ Some people think sessions can’t happen in the rain, but honestly, this time of year is magic! You might get a little wet, but it makes the experience unforgettable and so much fun!
