Just so you know, this was a full family session,but when I went to post all the photos I wanted to post it, IG said I had a remaining 7 photos that were over my limit.....well, that kind of made me mad. I wanted to share ALL of those photos! This got me thinking, I normally do some sort of motherhood special for Mother's Day....I wasn't going to this year.... but as some things work out, most of the over-the-limit-photos were of this mama and her sweet lil mini-me. I had an "aha" moment! I needed to just offer something special. So here ya go! It's been a while since I've shared anything. No better way to break the silence than with these. Aren't they the most precious family ever? Baby girl gave me smiles, gave me coos, all the scrunches and perfect, kissable cheekers. And big sister was just as amazing and so so adoring. It was the like the whole-complete-package. Makes my arms ache to go back to that place once again. The time when you can smother their cheeks with kisses and just stare at them until you feel like your heart can't take their cuteness anymore. But what a joy it is to get to watch them grow and move into their own. Every stage beautiful. Every milestone worth capturing. What a blessing it is to get to tag along for some of those moments.

So tiny and snuggly and the most perfect little squish! This sweet lil' punkin was the most tender blessing. He was the fruition of a thousand prayers answered. God's timing isn't always easy, but it's always worth it. And boy, soaking in the beauty of this family, it was such a powerful reminder of that. He is one loved on little boy with the proudest and most wonderful big sister! Moments like these bring my so much joy to get to be a part of. There are no words for how hard I fell for their little cutie pie! he had me wrapped around his cute little fingers the second I met him. Naturally, we all let him take the lead and basically followed him around while he gave us the world's sweetest captures! What an amazingly beautiful family to nearly wrap up my busy season. Makes my heart want to explode with gratitude when I think of clients like them! And the coolest backstory of this session is that we both saw the work of Jesus' hand in bringing us together. I love how He cares about the big things, the little things and all the in-between things of our lives. My heart is that you might see His workings in your own lives, in the pieces that you didn't even know He cared about. Because you know what? He cares about it all, every last detail. It all matters to Him. Blessings, my friends.

You may feel the chaos, but I see the beauty. Every single session! I wish I could squeeze all my clients' hands and tell them to just believe, to trust me. Let your wild child, be wild. Play with them, get down to their level. We go with it and move with them. Because this is what happens, I see all of the sweetest little snippets between you and your family. I'm capturing things you don't even know are happening. I let it unfold and don't try to squash it. So, while you leave feeling like maybe, just maybe I caught one good shot...I actually caught gold--and a lot of it. This family was everything I hoped they would be. They just loved their sweet girls, played, danced and laughed. And that, is all I could ever ask for.

When you're a girl family--you know there's gonna be dancing! And that is just what we did. Maybe it was a little bit in part to try and keep everyone warm and moving, but whatever, it made it fun and priceless. This was the session where I knew we had officially entered fall. Oh, how thankful we were for extra blankets to wrap those sweet girlies while in between photos! Because that wind was coooooold! But we made it by moving quickly, dancing, jumping and twirling our way through! So so thankful this mama continues to invite me back to document their life. ❤️

Seniors are consistently a little fresh breath of air for me. I love being able to pour all of my focus into one sole human being. It's fun to get to switch things up every once in awhile. Especially when they are cool kids that you've known since they were like TWO! His parents just happen to be family to one of my husband's friends from college. And as some things work out, we kept ending up attending the same churches as his family. I distinctly remember the first time I met him he was in a full, head-toe-suit....complete with a tie. I about died! I remember thinking to myself that I hoped I would have at least one boy some day so that I could dress them in little bow ties too. Little did I know God would grant me that wish...times THREE! So when I say it was an honor to get to take these for this now nearly grown adult, that would be a severe understatement. We dodged raindrops, got turned around a time or two and just had a blast capturing the incredible person he is. And I'm still over here wondering how he went from that little boy in the suit to this in only a few years flat. Graham, go do big things and don't ever stop playing that tuba!

They make it look easy. So many smiles, so many giggles, and so many warm hugs all throughout this gorgeous session. This is the kind of session where you leave and your heart just feels fuller because you know you didn't just capture some photos, you know you captured THEM. Another one of the sweetest fams you will ever meet!
