Celtic Renaissance Wedding

I cannot believe I haven’t shared this wedding yet! It was one of my absolute favorites! I love when couples throw out the “rule book” and make their day their own.

Casey & Bryce celebrated their wedding with a Celtic Renaissance theme on their homestead, surrounded by their closest family and friends.

During their private vows they had a beautiful, handfasting ceremony and during their public ceremony they exchanged swords each selected by the other. And the best part, the bride, groom and entire wedding party SKIPPED out to the infamous Shrek song, I’m a Believer by Smash Mouth - such an EPIC, fun and celebratory moment!

I need more whimsical and fantasy themed weddings stat! This was pure joy ❤️

Pacific Northwest weather just speaks to my soul! The mist, the romance, THE DRAMA!

& Jarod got married in Port Angeles, WA at one of my favorite venues, . This venue has one of the most stunning views and a unique A-frame design.

This day was a total dream! I loved Diana & Jarod’s elegant and classic theme, the beautiful florals created by Diana’s mother, her fathers heartfelt emotions, the sweet and fun mother and son dance and just the overall the joy and celebration their friends and family brought to the day ❤️

It was a picture perfect day 📸

We are taking it back to 2024: Courtnee & Josh

A beautiful overcast day (a photographers dream) in Carlton, OR at Ghost Hill Cellars, which at the time was a brand new venue. Courtnee was the picture perfect example of elegance and Josh, looking cool as ever in his light blue suit - making him her something blue 💙

Not only is this one of my first and favorite wedding films I’ve created, but it is at one of my favorite venues - Cape Horn Estate in Stevenson, WA in the famous Columbia Gorge. I am so excited to be going back for the first time since, in exactly one week for another wedding!

A recent engagement session with Jessie & Brandon at the stunning Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, WA.

We originally discussed doing their engagement session at the coast but then when Jessie brought up the idea of doing it in the Gorge, it was an immediate yes! It is one of my favorite locations and I am so blessed to get to shoot there so many times this season! Just look at these views!

Jessie & Brandon rocked this session and I just die over her gloves - I need every bride to wear gloves. It’s such an easy accessory and instantly adds some romance and drama. I need more.

As of April this year, I have checked another career bucket list item off my to-do list - I HAVE A STUDIO (downtown Vancouver, WA)! 🥳

Having a studio has given me the chance to focus on some other areas of photography and films, such as fashion and bo***ir, as well as given me an outlet to unleash more of my creativity, which I have desperately craved.
