Different lighting scenarios call for different camera settings, deciding between ambient light vs flash, etc.

I’ll be honest. When I first started my business over a decade ago, I claimed to be a “natural light” photographer… but it’s only because I didn’t know a single thing about flash.

When you are searching for or recommending a photographer, choose someone who’s confident in their ability to document something, regardless of the lighting situation. Trust me.

JNP Annual Fall Minis 2026 🍂

I have already had several conversations about where we will be this year and I am excited to say I am booking the Bragg-Mitchell Mansion in Mobile! I have photographed this location twice now and have fallen in love with it's charm.

-Sunday afternoon, September 13, 2026 (with the 20th or 27th as a backup date in case of bad weather, pending availability)
-15 minutes
-15 images
-$250 (with the option to purchase the full gallery for an additional $100)
-Half is due in order to book your spot; the remainder is due the day of the session.

📣 I will give my legacy clients first dibs on Wednesday, August 5 at 6pm, CST via email! Then the link will go live to the public on Thursday, August 6 at 6pm, CST. I will post it here and on my story.

Anna and Alden met me at the speakeasy inside Maringouin, in downtown OS. This spot was perfect for an engagement session needing a little variety. Anna was able to get all the vibes inside, and then a more timeless feel out by the pool.

In 2011, a childhood friend of mine asked me to photograph his wedding; I said yes.

I would have never imagined myself here, in 2026, still serving clients in the wedding industry, and loving it. It is a joy to serve the most wonderful people on their best day yet!

I have made countless connections, cultivated relationships, disciplined myself, and grown more than I can articulate. It is a wild ride, and without my support system and God, I wouldn’t be here.

I thank God for every open door, every yes… and every no, because it helps me grow.
