Here’s something I’ve wanted to share for some time!
You might notice something a little different on my page. (Yes, I promise to share more!) But I’ll no longer be posting photos that show children’s faces.
This started with wanting more privacy in my own life, but it’s grown into bigger thoughts about consent and how much of kids’ lives end up online before they even get a say in it.
Years ago, I used to post photos of my younger sisters all the time. One day it hit me that if they scrolled back now, they’d probably find a ton of childhood photos they never chose to share.. and honestly, I’d probably feel weird about that too.
So, while I still love capturing families and all the sweet milestones, I’ve decided it’s not my call to share those faces publicly. You’ll still see plenty of the joy and connection that make those sessions so special, just in ways that keep a little privacy for the kiddos 💛
