It is always an honor to be asked to do a maternity session. So to be asked a second time for baby #2 is really special! Thank you, Amanda and Ruben, for letting me capture these memories for you as you await the arrival of your little girl and a baby sister. And thank you to E&E Family Farm for their wonderful photo shoot location! I loved all the backdrops that they created for us, from the "linen line" where we hung the client's own onesies to the bungalow for some indoor shots, to the vintage truck full of flowers. I love all the sweet colors and touches we were able to create together. 💕

Jacob and Kendall's Senior Prom 2024. I can't believe I had the absolute honor to capture this beautiful young couple's photos leading into their special night with their friends. Their gorgeous attire, the perfect afternoon sun, and the natural backdrops just made our photo session so magical. And can we please talk about her hair, makeup, and dress?!?!! STUNNING!!! And the coordinating red Corvette?!! Incredible!! Thank you again to Jacob's mom, Lynne, for giving me this opportunity! I love these photos so much! ❤️🖤

Jacob, Class of 2024. What a very special and wonderful young man. I've known his mom for awhile now and when she reached out to me to do his Senior Photos, of course I said yes! She used to help watch my 7-year old son every other Sunday morning when he was two years old, so this was a very personal photo session to me. I wanted to do right by her, knowing this will be my own little boy before I know it.

On the day of the shoot, she mentioned that his girlfriend would be coming along to watch and asked if I could get a few shots of them together. Again, I said yes, of course!! And they were so cute together!

And finally, I couldn't NOT have a few shots of mom and son together. I know she was not expecting it and wasn't ready, but shouldn't all moms be more *in the pictures* with their kids, instead of always being the one taking them?! I had to capture this very special moment of the two of them, because I know she is so proud of him.

I don't let my 4'10" height stop me from getting the best pictures that I can of my clients. My trusty step ladder comes with me on EVERY shoot and is indispensable. Thanks to my client for secretly capturing these behind-the-scenes pics of me during our session with her son. (Photographer in the wild, LOL). I'm so excited to share the rest of his Senior Photos soon!!

I'm so grateful to be able to capture some of the most special, exciting, and joyful times in people's lives - especially that of a wonderful couple who are expecting their first child. This was such a fun session! I've been wanting to do a shoot with some tall grass and that was one of her requests. I found some tall grass and we made it happen!

A few weeks ago, I told my kids we were going out so I could take their pictures to use for our Christmas card. I told them I would give them $20 each to do it. They were excited and complied. However, once we got there, they just wanted to run around and give weird, awkward, tense smiles and whined. So I was like, okay, I'll give you each an *extra* $10 if you can just do this one thing for Mommy!! (see Moms- the struggle is real for me, too). Ladies and gentlemen, this is what $60 got me. 😅 I hope you all capture lots of genuine, happy smiles tomorrow morning! Merry Christmas!
