We were on the triple point storm as it went up on this day and made it nearly to Phillipsburg Kansas as we watched it shrivel and die in front of us. At about that same time, we saw storms firing in the warm sector and decided to blast the two hours east, hoping things would hold off for just a bit until we got there. This storm was our reward. It was one of the most beautifully structured, slow moving and electric storms we chased this spring. We were detoured through Red Cloud, had a sheriff turn around by Hebron and tail us, hit his lights 🚓🚨 and then go around and get the guy in front of us, and nearly ran out of gas, but we made it. 6/5/2026 near Jansen Nebraska.
