14 years...that's how long I have been photographing Audrey and her family. It is the most incredible gift to be in this role of mine...getting to know and watching kids grow throughout their early years.

Audrey is one of the sweetest girls. While getting ready for her session, her area lost power (again). They remained calm and showed up with the best attitude. We proceeded to experience magical weather and beautiful moments.

I'm so excited to watch Audrey continue to grow and shine. 🤎

As a mom, this kind of thing makes me cry.
As a photographer, this kind of thing makes me cry, too. 🤎

I believe I first started photographing Lauren and her family in 2015—two years before that first image was even taken. And not just here and there over the years. Not every once in a while.

Every. Single. Year.

And now, here we are in 2026, recreating some of the same poses from 2017.

Lauren has always been the sweetest girl. And there is something so incredibly tender about getting to watch a child grow up through my camera—then looking back and realizing just how much life has happened in between.

This is the part of photography that gets me every time. The proof that they were once this little. The reminder that none of it stays exactly the same.

And the unbelievable privilege of being invited back, year after year. 🤎

Northwest Indiana has so many talented photographers. So, when another photographer reaches out to do a session for their family, it's a big deal to me.

Loryn and I have worked together before, she's an amazing photographer. Being able to photograph her and her ADORABLE little Lincoln, felt a little like a dream. He was a little dream to work with...his little details are perfect. 🤎
