So, after our session, Carson said "that was sorta fun."

But what he meant was "that was the most fun I have ever had." Sometimes I have to correct people.

Photographing the Palm family is one of my favorite sessions to do. 🤎 Not just because Lovelyn has mastered the art of styling her family, but because everyone genuinely wants to be there. They cheer each other on, share ideas, laugh together, and have exactly my kind of sense of humor. 🤎

Lovelyn and I have been friends since she was a family of six. The way they have grown and HOW they have grown has been one of the highlights of my life.

I have a lot of peeks here, not just because there's a lot of people but because there's a lot of beautiful. 🤎🤎

I had the best time photographing Carson the other night. He has the best energy. As we were shooting in downtown Valpo, a group of guys were walking by, they did their best to not interrupt the session, there were some comments back and forth. Carson's mom and I jokingly asked if they wanted to get in for a shot...

They did.‼️

Mind you...they were complete strangers.

I keep marveling at how perfectly everything fell into place. We weren’t even supposed to be shooting that evening. We had rescheduled to accommodate my calendar and make room so I could get everyone in before the weather turns.

And somehow, it all unfolded exactly as it was meant to. Not just the perfect timing, but the perfect four people, together in that moment.

The experience brought so much joy to all of us. I hope the story also brings you some joy today.

If you don't live in the area, I have to tell you that we are having the dreamiest stretch of weather. Absolutely perfection.

Which just makes me love sessions like this even more. 🤎
