After 10 years, it it time to turn the page on this chapter of my life. As of February 25, I will be closing the doors to my Photography Studio. To my clients throughout the years, thank you for seeing my vision, understanding my process and valuing my work. I am eternally grateful for the moments in your lives you allowed me to be a part.
Entrepreneurship has been the hardest thing I have done. I have learned a ton, made mistakes, had some successes and rode the wild ride.
As I close this chapter, I ask you all to consider a few things, when you are considering hiring a business, and it really doesn’t matter what business it is, because these considerations apply to all of them.
Are they registered with the state?
Do they pay state and local taxes?
Are they insured?
Do they continue to better themselves through continuing education or certifications?
What is the quality of the products they provide or produce?
Do they pay their employees a livable wage?
Do they give back to the community, either through serving on boards or through the countless silent auctions or event sponsorships?
All of these things and more are calculated in the cost to the consumer, and considering some of these things may create a better understanding of the price differences between businesses or products.
Again, my heartfelt thanks to my clients throughout the years. You were the absolute best.
