Everyone waned us about wallpaper and we were very nervous about the removal process. It could be a lot easier but it could also be a lot harder. We’re happy to be making progress but the slight drywall damage will definitely take extra time to seal properly. Excited to see paint on these walls! Send your color recommendations!

Took the kids to Floor & Decor to look at tile options for the flip. 🥹 On every design project, I like to let the story of the house dictate the direction we go with design. For this project, our theme is midcentury cottage, hoping to balance unique design with something that appeals to the market as a whole. Cannot wait to show you guys what we chose!

Grateful to step into this multigenerational family gathering and be trusted to capture the sweet in-betweens. We got posed portraits ones we well. A formal family photo with a beautiful backdrop where everyone is smiling. But these— these fleeting snapshots of the real. These are my favorite from the night. 🤍

What does Jesus mean in John 10:10 when he says “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”?

When you hit a bump in the road, do you still have access to that promise of the blessed life?

What if the abundant life is less about the kind of house you live in, the status of your health, or the number in your bank account and more about becoming more like Jesus? The kinds of blessings He preached about in the beatitudes— the ones that come from meekness, purity, persecution, hunger and thirst? The blessed life is a life of Joy in Christ.

FOUR layers of flooring in this kitchen and dining room. The final layer is glued directly to the floor and may also have asbestos in it. We’re pretty sure we can’t get it up without having to refinish the entire floor so we’re leaning toward tiling the kitchen and dining. Let us know what you think.

Who knew carpet removal could feel like ASMR? 🤌🏼
