💛 Just being honest for a minute…

Lately I’ve been feeling a little different about photography.

I still love taking pictures. I still love cars, racing, and being at the track. I don’t think that part is going anywhere.

But I’ve realized that I’ve gotten so caught up in making sure I’m getting the pictures, covering the race, editing everything, posting everything, and making sure everyone has what they need that sometimes I forget to actually enjoy being there.

I miss being at the track just because I WANT to be there.

I miss watching a race without feeling like I need to have my camera in my hand the entire time.

So for now, I’m going to take a step back from the pressure of photography and give myself some room to just enjoy motorsports again.

I’m not quitting. I’m not disappearing. I’m not saying I’ll never pick my camera back up.

I honestly just don’t know what things are going to look like for me right now, and I think it’s okay to not have that figured out.

I just want to have fun again. 💛

And y’all know me… I’ll be back better than ever! 😉📸💛

🏁💛 What an Experience! 💛🏁

I’ll be completely honest… I’ve never really been a huge fan of junior dragsters. 😂 I always kind of viewed them as “those annoying little kids running around the track.”

But then I won my own giveaway and got the chance to actually experience the junior dragster world from the inside and WOW, was I wrong. 😂❤️

A huge THANK YOU to Amber Matts for winning my giveaway and allowing me to spend the day with her family and experience what junior drag racing is really all about. 🏁📸

Getting to see the preparation, the nerves, the excitement, the kids racing, and especially the parents and the community behind them completely changed my perspective.

These kids aren’t just little racers. They’re learning responsibility, sportsmanship, discipline, and what it means to be part of a community and the parents behind them are absolutely amazing. Everyone was so welcoming and willing to help each other.

Amber, thank you for giving me the opportunity to experience something I probably never would have experienced otherwise. You definitely helped me see the junior dragster world in a completely different way. ❤️

So I guess I owe the junior dragster community an apology…

Y’all aren’t as annoying as I thought. 😂🏁❤️

🏁➡️🦸 A little change of scenery this weekend!

I had the opportunity to photograph Valdosta Comic Con, and it was an absolute blast. From incredible cosplayers and talented vendors to live entertainment and unforgettable moments, there was creativity around every corner.

As someone who spends most weekends behind the lens at the drag strip, it was fun to step into a completely different world and capture the passion, talent, and creativity of this amazing community.

Thank you to everyone who stopped for a photo, posed for the camera, or simply shared a smile throughout the weekend. I hope you enjoy some of my favorite shots from the event!

A little change of pace this weekend! 📸

As much as I love spending my weekends at the drag strip, this weekend my photography is taking me somewhere different. I’ll be working Valdosta Comic Con, combining my love of photography with my other passions comics, anime, and all things nerdy!

Because of that, I won’t be making it out to the Test & Tune on Saturday night. I hope everyone has a great time at the track, and I’ll see y’all back there soon!

Who knows… maybe I’ll even share a few Comic Con photos too! 📷✨
