Life sometimes has a funny way of reminding you, to always be kind and a good person to those who's path your cross. . .

Yesterday was a FULL circle moment for me!

I had the honor of capturing these two precious seniors!

Cam...her daddy was my elementary school teacher in 4th & 5th grade! He was the best, kind, so funny, so laid back and I can vividly remember her sweet little picture framed on his desk with her white blonde hair.

Ahmad'Dra...my husband was an AP for him when he was in elementary school! And it was so much fun to watch them reconnect and chit chat all about football and the big plans he has for his future.

To see them behind my lense all grown up, with such bright futures ahead made me feel old, but also made my heart swell. . ..
because THIS is what it means to be raised in a small town. I spent my entire life here growing, learning, being poured into, meeting stranger and friends. This moment is a reminder to plant roots deep and establish connections that might one day lead back to closing the circle. 🤍 ⭕️

The future is so amazingly bright for these two and all they plan to accomplish and I'm so glad I was the one who got to document this season of this lives. ✨

Beach Minis were so much fun, and we literally got jaw dropping beautiful shots for every single family that participated! 🤩
The beach is my happy place and let me tell you, nature never ceases to amaze and humble me when I look at this beautiful backdrop God created.

We had sweet moments of a family day at the beach, no coordinating outfits or forced posing, just natural raw interactions of the sweetest family playing...the best idea ever and in turn, we got countless moments captured that they will treasure for a lifetime.

And naturally a sailboat showed up at the most perfect time to make its debut for our sunset session! ⛵️

These minis were so much fun, I might just open up a date in July for them again. 🤍

Family photo sessions are something that are so necessary, but often times put on the back burner due to the hustle and bustle of our busy lives!
and without fail, every single time I take a family session (especially with good folks just like this) that I've known my entire life...it takes my breath away when I realize how quickly time passes by and how many things change that we are oblivious to! 😢

It feels like it was just yesterday Courtney, Austin and I were youngsters at the county fair, hands held out for more cash, and our parents under the sale barn tending to the livestock and creating memories of their own.
What I wouldn't give to go back just once!
Life happens fast, so let me capture your moments and your family just as they are now. Because you truly don't realize how quickly 15 years passes by. 💙
