Caleb and Marie were blessed with an absolutely gorgeous sunset on their wedding day that was almost as radiant as the joy that was so obviously emanating from their love 🕊️🤍

Happy feast day of the Immaculate Heart of Mary! 🩵🕊️

//Múlier, ecce filius tuus. Deinde dicit discípulo: Ecce mater tua// "Woman, behold thy son. After that He saith to the disciple: Behold thy Mother."

In John 19:25-27, today's gospel, when Jesus gives John his mother, John represents all of humanity. In our Lord's final moments, beaten, broken, stripped of his clothes, deprived of food and water, the only thing he had left was his mother at the foot of his cross; yet in that moment, he surrendered the person he loved most to us so that we can have her as our spiritual mother to help lead us closer to Him. Just as any good mother, she wants to help us in our lives, our marriages, our families, and our pursuit to getting closer to her son. So invite her. Welcome her. Ask her to help in your journey, in whatever season of life you are in. Take her into your home, as Jesus told us to do on the cross.

Although today's not a holy day of obligation, I encourage you to find a special way to honor our Blessed Mother; go to mass, say a rosary, wear blue, plant a flower in her honor, contemplate on her life and her virtues, etc.

Jake and Janae have been preparing to convalidate their marriage in the church for the past year and it’s been incredible to witness the growth of their faith and their growth as a couple. It was an honor to be present at their holy sacrament and just to know this beautiful family has been such a gift! Wishing them a lifetime of delight in each other and the Lord 🕊️🤍

I have taken photos of Jim and Emily, a.k.a. Jimily, while they were dating, engaged, getting married, and now on their way to parenthood 💕
These two are without doubt soulmates and are such a great example of a holy couple. Baby Odelia is going to have a shining example of Christ’s love for the church from her parents’ love for each other! 🤍

Congratulations to Matt and Rebecca for not only the convalidation of their marriage in the Catholic Church but also for Rebecca’s baptism and confirmation! 🤍 It was an honor to witness this family’s commitment to the sacraments and desire to be of one faith.
