With COVID-19 keeping us social distancing and closing down businesses temporary we are trying to find activities to keep busy. Parks are seeing more activity as more people are getting outside. Families are outside with their children playing ball, bike riding or just enjoying the sun. My wife and I have even taken our son out in his stroller while we go for our runs.
Unfortunately I've had to stop photographing people to follow recommendations from the CDC in the US and in Napa Solano. Fortunately this does not mean I have to completely stop photographing. I've stepped out of my comfort zone and decided to take my camera to nature and try something new. I've challenged myself to take as many photos as I can everyday during this time of social distancing to better myself at something else and hopefully whatever I take away from this experience I can apply to my normal portrait work.
With that said, challenge yourself. Go out and do something new or different from what your normal is and see what you learn.
Stay safe, wash your hands and go our and learn! 😁

It's been a while since I've posted but I hope to get back on the horn.
Malene and I just got back from our favorite getaway in Carmel. We love going here and walk around all day long and admire all its beauty. Here's a few pics I was able to get right before complete sunset.

I'm really exited. I submitted a photo from one of my fitness series to a competition held by Photoflex and won this week's challenge! I've never submitted my photography to anything like this before and it feels great to be recognized for doing something I love! Thank you Photoflex and thank you Joe Edelman for the great tips you give on your channels.
