It’s a pinch me moment, indeed. A lot of hard work and tears went into this decision and all of the planning. And I have you to thank, my dear clients who have become like family. Your continued support and trust in my art, my vision is so deeply humbling. WINTER 2026 DIGITAL COVER // The past week has been a wee bit crazy (and not just because of Christmas!)—why? We finalized the Winter/Spring 2026 issue of Real Weddings Magazine and sent it off to the printer. Stressful? Yes. Exciting? Absolutely. And with its arrival comes one of our favorite (and toughest) tasks: choosing the cover models.
This issue features four styled shoots with real brides and real couples, from which we selected four covers—two for print (Winter and Spring) and two for the digital editions.
Sounds simple? Not even close. Choosing just four covers is truly agonizing—we have so many incredible images, and every shoot deserves the spotlight. It’s a great problem to have… but wow, is it hard.

It was in the way the Groom kept sneaking glances at his stunning Bride all day and seeing the little tears of joy well up in his eyes.

It was in the way her dad politely asked to es**rt the Bride to her first look, because he had waited so many years for this day.

It was in each of flutter of her mother’s veil she wore, in her loving memory.

It was in each carefully selected detail from the venue, to the custom suit and elegant gown, from tearful vows to the temporary tattoos during the cocktail hour.

Love was felt that warm December day in so many beautiful ways. J+S thank you for allowing me to be witness.

Reminiscing on 2024 and as this gallery popped up in my memories, I just knew I had to share.

L+P planned their wedding day for a beautiful spring weekend in May, at Harmony Ridge Lodge tucked in at the edge of the Tahoe National Forest. As friends from near and from as far as the Carolinas and Florida flew in to join them for the week, weather reports started to predict more and more the chance of rain. Not to be deterred, they hastily ordered umbrellas and planned for an indoor dinner.

On the wedding day, as the bride started prepping in the makeup chair, she kept an eye out the window and at one point asked us all if she was imagining things, but if the rain that was falling actually looked a lot like snow!

If the saying is true, that rain on your wedding day is good luck, then a surprise winter storm on your wedding day must be the best luck of all! Congrats L+P and thank you for bringing me along on such a magical day!
