RIP to an icon. 💔✨

Dolly was so much more than the rhinestones, big hair and country music to me.

She made me feel like different was beautiful.

When I wore the loud outfits, did the crazy hair, piled on the makeup and wondered if maybe I was too much… Dolly somehow made me feel like I was enough exactly as I was.

She made me want to be different.
To stand out.
To be feminine, bold, creative and completely unapologetic about it.

And I think a little bit of that has carried into everything I create today—especially the way I photograph women.

I want women to feel seen.
I want them to see the things that make them different and realize those might just be the most beautiful parts of them.

Thank you, Dolly, for showing generations of women that we never had to make ourselves smaller to belong.

I’m proud of how far I’ve come… but I never want my highlight reel to make someone else feel like they’re behind. 🤍

Because behind the beautiful photos, the opportunities, the creativity and the moments I’m incredibly proud of… there’s still a real person figuring things out as she goes.

I still get nervous.
I still have ideas that don’t work.
I still experience slow seasons.
I still doubt myself sometimes.
I still have moments where I feel overlooked.
And I’m still learning every single day.

None of that means I’m failing.

It means I’m growing.

I think sometimes we look at someone doing well and assume they’ve reached a point where everything just works. But growth doesn’t remove the hard moments — it teaches you not to let those moments define you.

You can be successful AND still have doubts.
You can be talented AND still make mistakes.
You can be proud of yourself AND still want to grow.
You can have incredible opportunities AND still hear “no.”
You can love what you do AND have hard days.

Both can exist. 🤍

So celebrate your wins loudly… but don’t be ashamed of the messy parts in between.

Those moments aren’t proof that you’re not making it.

They’re proof that you’re still becoming.

Keep showing up. Keep creating. Keep betting on yourself.

Remember when I said we were going to turn the chairs ruined by the floods into BURN SESSIONS?! 🔥

Well… ROUND ONE is officially in the books. And after seeing what we created, I already know this is only the beginning. 👀🔥

I think it’s time to make THE BURN SESSIONS an official series because now that I’ve got the vision DOWN… the ideas in my head are getting a little unhinged. 😂🔥 I already have some crazy concepts planned, and trust me—you’re going to want to see what’s next.

So if you’ve ever wanted photos that feel like art, attitude, fire + a little bit of “WTF did she just create?!”… this is your sign.
