Ahhh yes! Despair makes us feel isolated and distant from God, but is precisely when we need God most. Despair over sin should not lead to self pity, causing us to think more about ourselves than God. Despair should lead to confession and then to God's mercy, forgiveness, and redemption. When we feel overwhelmed by a problem, feeling sorry for ourselves will only increase feelings of hopelessness, but crying out to God ( Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress Psalm 107:19) will turn our attention to the only One who can really help us.

If you don't know what despair is, here is the definition-the complete loss or absence of hope.

I hold this beautiful Psalm close to my heart. Key words here (and in his word). What words in this Psalm do you find as key?

But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.
I will wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.
I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning,
more than watchmen wait for the morning.
Psalm 130:4-6

This photo was taken at a beach on a beautiful morning! Never a bad day amigos! Blessings and Peace to you!

This harvest psalm glorifies God the Creator as reflected in the beauty of nature. Nature helps us understand something of God's character. Nature shows God's generosity-giving us more than we need or deserve. Understanding God's abundant generosity should make us grateful to God and generous to others.

I am truly amazed that He only shows us small picture slides of his generosity...He is always willing to listen and always willing to understand. There is personal access to His presence everywhere and at any time! It is overwhelming to know that our voice can be heard. Answers don't always come and sometimes they come quickly! If this speaks to you, then thank him or don't.

Lord, I am in awe of you!

Well, never a bad day amigos! Good night and tomorrow is another day!

Yesterday I went for a morning walk and saw this solid oak tree near this small lake near where I live. It is a beautiful tree that has a split trunk, one going one way and another going another way. The tree is not trimmed and its branches are overhanging touching the grass and another branch touching the water. It is a very healthy tree considering where it is located and no up keep. There are ducks and turtles in the small lake that take cover under it. It is cool to watch in the mornings.

The placement and location of this tree was strategic. Just like our own lives and plan. Although, we might not know where we are headed and end up in the future, God knows the future and his plans for us are good and full of hope. This does not mean we will be spared pain, suffering, or hardship, but that God will see us through to a glorious conclusion. He is all knowing and He is for us. Place one foot in front of the other and keep on keeping on, like they say.

Never a bad day, sun comes up in he East and settled in the West, and you wake up and get outta bed! Coffee is ready amigos! Blessing and Peace..

The changes in the seasons are upon us. Change takes time...there have been many changes lately and one can't deny that It has affected us in one way or another. Whether the changes have affected you in a positive way or a negative way that's for you to decide and ponder. Seasons change but some change for the better and some for the worse. Like in this season there will be flourishing and there will be falling of leaves and waters flowing. The leaves will turn a different color and then they will grow out fresh ones! The water will give new life and help new life through out. We will see plenty of replenishing, dying and growing too. So however you might see things moving to a particular direction that's your choice. I am here to encourage you and to let you know that everything that you might be going through is for your own good. Live it out with joy!
If you are searching for good news about your outlook in life, you have to tune in with your dial to the right station-(the station that will keep you grounded) and once you are there don't change it one bit. I believe this station will have some good news for your life.
I leave you with these beautiful promises from God:
Remember not the former things, or consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. -Isaiah 43:18-19
I have said this to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. -John 16:33
but he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. "I will all the more gladly boast of my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
- 2 Corinthians 12:9
I took this photo below in December of 2015 out near Utopia Texas by county road 378. This beautiful river is the Sabinal River and it runs through this beautiful piece of land where I saw Cypress trees grounded and placed near water where they can continue their beautiful growth. Indeed "Obedient waters" do exist in the heavens. God bless amigos and encourage peace with your life!

Good morning amigos! How are you handling this Texas heat or heat? I have been very thirsty lately and sucking down on the Gatorade and anything that I can add ice to that tastes refreshing. Our bodies thirst but so do our souls, wouldn't you agree? I believe at times we allow our souls to dry up and that is very dangerous. So I encourage you this morning to pickup the written Word and satisfy your thirsty and hungry soul if you need that sort of cup. I would like to share a little bit about this photo posted...

So back when I was delivering deer feeders I had a delivery to CR Pluger Ranch in Sonora Texas. I believe it was 5 feeders...2000lbs each...meaning they could hold up to 2000 lbs of feed inside them...so they could be moved by hand..no equipment necessary. I drove to a gate and called...Sharon said open to the gate. She asked me to drive over the cattle guard and drive to the main house. There she asked me to follow her to the drop off location. I must have driven about 2 miles in and up to the top of the hill and past this beautiful windmill and next to it was a huge water well filled with water. Although not Jacob's well as written in John 4 it was a beautiful location to have a well and a windmill with blue sky view. She stopped and I stopped my old diesel. She headed my way. I opened my window and she said lets unload them there. So I turned off the engine and I got ready to work. I thought I was going to unload them myself but she had her gloves on and we both tackled them feeders-Texas style by using our hands and feet! We both had sweat on our brow! After unloading them we were tired! Whewww! Honest work sure does humble a man and a woman. So I asked her if I could take a photo of the windmill and the well and she said sure! She asked me...do you want me to turn on the well for you? And I said no but I really wanted to say yes! Anyhow, I took my photos and I thanked her. While there we talked about God, politics, and stubborn people in this world...It was a very nice conversation. We all have things that we would like to let go of like the Samaritan woman and we should because the more we carry these things the more slow our walk becomes. We were not meant to carry our loads alone or at all. Like in John 4 only He can lighten your load and be your spring of water welling up to eternal life. This kind of water is readily available to us all! So quench your thirst today as it is good for the soul! Coffee is ready! Good day amigos have a yourself a blessed day!

I took this photo a while back, but I was taken back by it and His creation. The panoramic option couldn't fit it all...it was a limited option. I believe God reveals himself through nature and there we can learn about his limitless power too. His forgiveness is wider than this view-as far as East and West as one can go! Now that's a promise! Good day amigos, coffee is good on another beautiful day!

I often look for the boldness of David in 2 Samuel 22 and 23 when I know that I need the Lord to be with me through life's fog where I can not see what's ahead. I know the Lord will meet me there (where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf, having become a high priest for ever according to the order of Melchiz'edek. Hebrews 6:20). I often refer to David's strength which is Christ's strength!

David always revealed truths about God.

The Lord is my Rock, Fortress, Deliverer, Refuge, Shield, Horn of Salvation, Stronghold, Savior, Lamp.

A beautiful scripture reading "he is like the light of the morning at sunrise on a cloudless morning, like the brightness after the rain that brings grass from the earth. -2 Samuel 23:4

I have always been a fan of sunsets and silhouette photos. I am not sure why but there is something about being able to capture the dark side of an object which is taken in the forefront of the sun showing depth. Anyhow, I took this photo back in April of 2016 and it was burning a hole in my laptop folder. I decided to get it out and display for all to see! The definition of forefront is "We are the forefront of developments, the position of greatest importance or prominence". I encourage you to keep placing one foot in front of the other and ease your mind and accept that you are right where you need to be at the present time with new things ahead. I hope to encourage someone tonight. God Bless!

A very nice scripture reading that aligns with this "Remember not the former things, or consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. -Isaiah 43:18-19
