I’m excited to start offering a few of my prints as “Just Because” greeting cards! Bringing us all back to the days of connecting with one another through snail mail. To be honest, I’ve never been great about sending cards out for standard special occasions. But often find myself thinking of someone in a certain moment and want to let them know with a tangible and intentional note. For this reason I have a stash of blank cards always on the ready! In the past few years I’ve started using some of my own thick card-stock matte image prints to jot a note on the back of and send off. Now, I want to share that option with others. So please, if you enjoy sending love through the mail, consider choosing some of my art to do so. I have made it so you can pick just one single card or stock up and choose either a 5 or 10 pack of “just because” cards to purchase. If you aren’t the type of person who sends out mail, but wouldn’t mind sharing this post for someone who does, I’d also truly appreciate that as well. I had the pleasure of creating with this past weekend. Her space, her energy, and her healing is something I wish everyone could experience. I have also been lucky enough to receive two Thai massages from her and I can’t say enough amazing things about it. If you live in the Bristol, RI area you should absolutely go treat yourself! I don’t hate people. I hate that we have collectively had to endure so much pain to bring us to where we are at right now.
To be so insecure in ourselves that we lack trust in everyone around us.
That we feel the need to bring someone else down in order to make ourselves feel superior.
Once we realize it’s ourselves we hate then we can begin to find compassion within this.
We can begin forgiving ourselves, and loving ourselves.
Then we start to see everyone around us as part of us.
Another being who has felt pain, shame, abandonment, fear, and sadness.
We can meet them there because we have been there.
That does not mean we have to agree with them. We do not need to fix them. We do not have to do anything at all.
But we do have the ability to listen, feel what they are saying and respond calmly from a place of compassion.
We all want love and connection, it’s embedded in us. Lean into it.

I wanted to articulate how grateful I am for this friendship that has stood the test of time. But, I’m stumbling over my words.

I guess the beauty of a friendship like this one is that time can go by with very few words and then one day you reconnect on another level that floods you with such depth, growth, and passion. Thank you for this ever growing friendship we’ve shared for so many years. 💗💗 I hope you know how much you inspire me.
