It's coming up quickly to that time of year again! Fall sessions are the best sessions. Aren't cozy sweaters and fall colors the loveliest combination? If you are interested in booking a session with me, let me know!
Each photo session is typically an hour long, and I charge only $125 for as many photos as I take - often up to 100! Turnaround time is usually 1-3 weeks after your session, and I deliver digitally with a Google Drive link, or I can copy to a physical USB drive.

Check out this amazing praying mantis I found in my backyard a couple weeks ago! I was reading up on how their eyes work, and it's some pretty insane stuff! The little black dots you see in their compound eyes are the pseudopupils, and they appear to move based on which ommatidia (compound eye receptors) are facing you directly. It all has to do with which angle you are observing them from. Absolutely fascinating!

While these aren't the most impressive eclipse photos ever, it was amazing to be there to witness it under minimal cloud...

While these aren't the most impressive eclipse photos ever, it was amazing to be there to witness it under minimal cloud cover from a beautiful park in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, with my brothers and husband. I packed in 3 lens changes during this time and, even though my camera was on a tripod, I was shaking so bad that I don't think it helped. There sure is something surreal and exhilarating about the world as we know it going completely dark in the middle of the day! The prominences were incredible to see with the naked eye. An unforgettable experience for certain!

I know there are a lot of photos just like this one, but that doesn’t mean that sharing the image from my camera isn’t worth it. Totality on April 8th, 2024 was unbelievable. The almost 4 minute moment in the shadow of the moon was both chilling and exhilarating. I scrambled to swap lenses on the one camera body I had with me, while also taking in the moment, and I was a shaky mess the whole time. I absolutely loved it, despite the spooky vibe of spending so much time in darkness during the midday.
