Here is the link to the Brandywine Valley Driving Club's "Derby" event last Saturday, October 24th! I'm honored as always to be the photographer for any of your events. I have tried to deal with the "tech" part of Shootproof, it's not so easy. But you can see your photos, and if you want to buy any, I think they are reasonably priced! Thank you for the opportunity to photograph your beautiful horses/ponies and carriages! You all put so much effort into this and the result is just beautiful, and thank you for those who wore costumes plus costumes for the horses and ponies! It was just wonderful!

Here are some sample photos I took for the Brandywine Valley Driving Club "Derby" this past weekend. I'm going to create a "Shootproof Gallery" which should be ready by Wednesday or Thursday of this week. I'll have everyone's photos on there and you can buy them at a very reasonable price, if you like them! I'm honored to have been asked to do the photography for the event! I will send the link to BVDC and they will post it on their FB page, and my photography FB page, Pam Coath Photography! What you are seeing here is sample photos, there will be many more on the gallery.

Today (Oct. 24th, 2026) I photographed the Brandywine Valley Driving Club "Derby", and the entries were all encouraged to wear costumes! These ladies did it up right! I'll be posting a link to the Shootproof gallery, hopefully by Wednesday or Thursday of this week, where you can see all the photos and perhaps buy a few, the prices are good! Thank you Brandywine Valley Driving Club! What a beautiful day it was today!

I photographed the Brandywine Valley Driving Club's "Fall Frolic" event at Fair Hills, Maryland, last Saturday. After editing this week, the gallery is ready! Here it is: https://pamcoathphotography.shootproof.com/gallery/bvdc
It was an amazing time because after the "Picnic Class" in the barn, the rain let up for the whole day until the very end. So thankful. And so thankful to Brandywine Valley Driving Club for asking me to be the photographer for this event, I'm greatly honored! Beautiful horses and carriages all day, the Picnic Class in the barn was beautiful, and nice friendly people all day. It was a good time!

I go to a local arboretum mainly to get bird photos, but lately I've taken up the challenge of Dragonflies around the pond. I've watched a couple of videos on how to do it, and I'm having some success, especially with the 300mm plus 1.4 teleconverter. It's really a lot of fun! They are gorgeous subjects! 420 mm, f5, 1/1250 sec. (When I try to capture them flying, I go up to 1/4000 sec. or more).

I spent last winter, and this spring, photographing birds. I've always loved birds, but just never focused on them in photography. So I got into it a little bit, and have gotten some cool photos in the past months. Here is an American Bald Eagle I photo'd at a park in Chester County. Trying out some features on my camera that capture the birds when they are just taking off. Having fun, anyway! Enjoying God's creation!
