Looking for inspiration, I thumble through the past. I'm always stopped in my tracks, as I remember each moment of this day.

During an in-home Studio Session for a Christmas Themed Cake Smash (for baby brother), my favorite curly headed, sassy, classy, lookin' just like her Mama baby girl decides it's her turn! She was telling me all about her baby doll, and very focused. I adore her, and this photo will always be a favorite.

Darla and I have been friends, for as long as I can remember. When we found ourselves vacationing a mere 2 hours away, during the 4th of July weekend, AND she just celebrated her birthdayyyyy....we planned the perfect afternoon to visit, have fun, and capture her beautiful family.

Hayden, her youngest, and I planned a birthday/4th of July cake surprise, complete with photoshopped sparklers (the wind would not cooperate). 🤪💨

Mia ~ LSU Graduate, 2026

Say hello to Mia, an upcoming 2026 Graduate of LSU, specializing in teaching! This Fall, Mia will continue her education, by pursuing her Master's Degree. She is smart, dedicated, and has the patience of Job!

Our day started in the bright sunlight, overlooking the LSU Stadium. With the temps a little warm, Mia and I took a little mid-day break, to relax at her beautifully decorated home, which was built around the early 1900's, or earlier!

After a refresh, we geared up for a much cooler afternoon, and lots of laughs. Mia shared with me the tradition of getting into the water fountain... it was a little slippery, but we had Crocs 🤩, and nothing was more fun!

Thank you, Mia, for allowing me to capture these memories for you! I can't wait to see your future unfold, and I wish only the best for your endeavors.
