We spent the weekend at Roaring River State Park… and everything about their day was so beautiful. The setting, the weather, and every little detail. It all came together so perfectly.

I hear this from moms all the time…

“Maybe after things settle down.”
“I don’t feel like myself right now.”
“I just want to wait a little longer.”

I’ve said those same things too.

If I’m being honest, I don’t have many photos with my own kids.
Not because I didn’t want them…
but because I kept thinking I’d do it later.

when life slowed down or when things felt calmer

But I’m starting to realize… that time doesn’t really come like that. And I don’t want to keep missing it.

6 months old and already so full of personality.

I always tell moms this is one of my favorite ages to photograph. They’re happy, curious, not quite on the move yet… just soaking everything up.

These milestone sessions always end up being some of my favorite family photos to look back on later. It goes so fast, and this stage is such a sweet little in between.
