After many years of photographing seniors and families as Tara Giles Photography, I’m excited to share that the business is evolving into something bigger. Introducing **Shutter Canyon.**

Shutter Canyon is a portrait and film studio based in Puyallup, serving clients throughout Tacoma, Gig Harbor, and the greater South Sound. While I will continue photographing many sessions personally, this new brand allows me to grow the studio, eventually bring additional talented photographers onto the team, and expand into creative projects — including offering education for photographers and other creative businesses. What does this mean for you?

The Senior Team is a fully guided experience designed for those who want more than a one-day photo shoot.

Instead of showing up once and hoping it goes well…
they get multiple shoots throughout the year, time in front of the camera, and a small group they’ll actually get to know.

From planning outfits and locations
to being guided every step of the way
to creating images you’ll actually want to keep and display

This is about creating something meaningful — not just checking it off your list.
