Displaying my photographic artwork. Follow Welcome, and thank you for perusing my photo art! I never considered myself to be artistic.

Photography is a hobby of mine that has grown from an interest to a passion; from a dabble to a creative outlet. An engineer in real life, STEM subjects have always been at my core. My drawings never developed much past stick figures; my writing always succinct and to-the-point with little descriptive fluffery. Photography is the first thing to make me feel like maybe there is an artistic side of me afterall. I think my interest in photography was always in me, buried deep beneath academics and awkward attempts at social acceptance. That interest began to flicker a little when I took my first shot that I felt was actually pretty good around the age of 13 or so. There it smoldered idly through my teen years. Through my twenties my interest slowly grew into a budding hobby. Shortly after I bought my first DSLR around 2010 is when my passion for photography really started to pick up steam. Nearly a decade later I finally feel ready to display some of my better work here, though I have so much more to learn, more skills to develop, better work to produce. Photo art, like any art, is intended to elicit in people an emotional response, whether it is awe, inspiration, hope, wonder, or any other emotion. I hope that my work tugs at your heartstrings in some way.
