2026 is already a STUNNER and this is just the first weekend back with our couples! Katie & Isaac’s wedding was such a blast. All day we felt their love, their excitement to truly *start* a life together, their undeniably perfect for each other-ness. Scenes from an off-season ✨ Joy Warning: this is not our usual content but it is our goal vibe. Not everybody gets the chance to recharge like we do and we make the most of it. I figured it was time for a little reintroduction since we haven’t posted in over a month – that was intentional but it can be hard to come back from! Today we are kicking it off with some behind the scenes look at how wedding photographers spend winter. ❄️ 🌴🌍
I’ll add some sweet photos of Sara and Emily and all they are rocking this winter in stories (hint: there’s a puppy) and here are some immediate favorites from my recent trip to Tanzania.
It was a return trip for my husband and I as we endeavored to show some of our favorite places on earth to our kids. Perhaps even better than all the amazing animals were the wonderful people – including a woman that I met 16 years ago when I visited her tribal home and the children and young adults of Global Orohanage, a home for parentless children in Tanzania that we have supported since meeting a fellow photographer and lover of Tanzania many years ago .photography. She has done incredible work organizing the orphanage into a 501(c)(3) via . If your heart has been calling you to do more both locally and abroad this could definitely be a place to invest some of your resources. I have lots of ideas about local orgs too so hit me up in my DM’s if you need to connect!
