Howard Search - Art Fine art photography and painting Howard Search is a fine art, landscape, and documentary photographer.

Working in traditional digital and infrared, his photographs include landscapes, portraits, abstract and figure work. Born in Brooklyn, New York and growing up on Long Island he experienced the creative energy explosion in photography during the ‘50s and ‘60s. He moved to Vermont in the late ‘60s and developed his feel for landscape. He has been making images for over 50 years and has incorporated his appreciation for form and composition into his personal style. While mostly self- taught, he has also studied at the Maine Photographic Workshops (now Maine Media Workshops) and has taught photography for many years. “Through teaching, we not only instruct students but broaden our own ability for visual expression”. Howard is an accomplished sailor, handyman and recent kayaker. He has recently movet to Staunton, Virginia in the Shenandoah Valley.
