For the last six years, wedding photography has been one of the greatest honors of my life. I’ve spent countless weekends documenting love stories, traveling near and far, and pouring my whole heart into serving my couples. And I wouldn’t trade those memories for anything.
But over the past year, I’ve realized I simply don’t have the capacity to be a full-time wedding photographer anymore.
Nearly every weekend has been devoted to weddings. There have been seasons of travel, long commutes, time away from home and family, and a constant cycle of pouring out creatively. It has been beautiful… and also incredibly draining at times. And I’ve learned that it’s okay to honor my own happiness and mental health.
About seven months ago, I quietly began exploring a new creative avenue; one that challenged me in different ways and stretched me beyond what I’ve known and I’d like to keep exploring that.
So beginning in 2027, I will be stepping into a more intentional season of my business.
I will be accepting:
One in-state wedding per month or
One travel wedding per month (out of state or country)
If that honestly. Please still inquire with me as I may have your date available.
I will continue offering full-day weddings, elopements, and micro weddings (just in a more limited and intentional capacity)
Family narrative sessions, motherhood sessions, and couple sessions will absolutely still be a part of my calendar. These sessions have become such a meaningful and sustainable way for me to document love in a slower, more present way.
2026 is nearly fully booked, and 2027 is already beginning to fill and I am so deeply grateful for every couple who has trusted me with their story.
I will always love documenting love. I am just creating space to grow in new creative directions, to be more intentional with my time, and to step into this new season with clarity and balance.
Sometimes you just outgrow seasons of your life and that’s okay.
