Before choosing a location for senior portraits, I like to ask: where do you feel most at home?
For some seniors, that answer leads us to a field, a barn, and a horse they love.
Morgan’s portrait shows how much those familiar parts of life can bring to a photograph. Her hat, her smile, her hand beside her horse—all belong in the story.

After 35 years of marriage, I look at wedding photographs with more than the wedding day in mind.
I think about opening an album years later and recognizing those smiles. Remembering how it felt to stand beside each other, with so much still ahead.
A photograph like this gives you somewhere to return to.
That’s what I hope to create for the couples I photograph: something they love today, and something that means even more as the years pass.
