I've been kind of a bum when it comes to social media and sharing lately, but I had to pop on and share one from a recent family session!

Sometimes my absolute favorite images are the ones where no one is looking at the camera. The little interactions, snuggles, laughs, and moments in between are often the ones that feel the most like you. ❤️

Of course we will always get those everyone-looking-and-smiling photos too, but these are the ones that tend to steal my heart!

Love this girl! I met her when she was still just a tiny baby in the hospital, and somehow here we are taking her SENIOR photos! How does that even happen?!

She is sweet, happy, funny, and just a couple days older than my second born, which makes this whole senior thing feel even crazier to me.

We had so much fun at her session and definitely shared plenty of laughs along the way. I've had some truly wonderful seniors so far this year, and I'm having so much fun capturing this exciting time in their lives!

Hey there! I am still here... just not doing a very good job in the sharing department lately. 😂

I have so many sessions I want to share, but getting galleries delivered to my clients will always come first. Social media tends to take a back seat this time of year.

But I had to stop and share one of my daughter's senior photos from our family vacation.

I seriously cannot believe I am going to have TWO kids graduated. I am still very much in denial that I am old enough for that. Like... what the heck?!

We had the prettiest water for her photos that evening, and I am so grateful we got to spend that time together as a family. These are memories I know we will always treasure.

I love horses. I love photography. So naturally, photographing horses alongside their people makes me happy!

This handsome guy would have much rather eaten grass than had his photo taken, but every now and then he decided to humor me and gave us some really great shots.

I always love sessions that include the animals that mean so much to their families. They add so much personality and help tell your story.

This sweet baby girl had me rolling with laughter.

She does. Not. Stop.

Even when she tips over, she pops right back up as fast as she can and keeps going. I am pretty sure she does not even walk. She just runs everywhere she goes!

Talk about a challenge for photos! 😂 But honestly, that is part of the fun. Her personality shines through in every single image, and I absolutely love that.

She is the absolute cutest, and her sisters are just as adorable.

I am pretty sure they need a fourth in the mix becasue how could you not!?. 😉

Ellis is ALL about his tractor!

We did photos of one of his big sisters with this same tractor, so that made it even more fun. He was all smiles as soon as we put him on it. I think he is going to be just like his daddy!

He is also one of the only siblings who has not hated me for the first year of his life. Haha. I think by the fourth baby, they just learn to go with the flow!

I will definitely have to share more from this session because we got so many great ones!

Seriously, could this sweet baby girl have been any more perfect today? She was absolutely wonderful for her session! Only time she cried was when she woke up and realized she was hangry..me too kiddo..me too. haha.

And her big brother was so much fun to work with too. He did such an amazing job with his baby sister, and it is already so obvious that he is going to be the best big brother.

I have known their mama since we were kids because she lived right down the street from me. It makes the session even more special when I get to photograph milestones for families I have known for so long. Really feel so blessed.

I have not been very good at the social media thing lately. It is summer, and honestly, I just want to be outside instead of stuck behind a computer! I have a feeling a lot of you can relate. I know I have several people waiting on me for sneaks, so I need to kick it into gear! ☺

I have several Class of 2027 seniors to share, and I am kicking things off with Brooke!

This blue dress was absolutely perfect against all of that gorgeous summer green. I love how the colors complement each other, and Brooke completely rocked her session!

Happy 250th Birthday to the U.S.A.!

A mission trip to a third world country opened my eyes to just how blessed we are to live here. Is our country perfect? No. No country is. But it gave me a deeper appreciation for the opportunities, freedoms, and everyday comforts that I often take for granted. I am grateful for every day I am blessed to wake up in this beautiful country.
