Well, I guess we’re doing this. 🖤 It’s not really my style to campaign for awards, ask for nominations, or really put myself out there for things like this.
But today, a client reached out to tell me she’d nominated me for the 2027 Siouxland Choice Awards.
I’ve spent the last 12 years pouring my heart into this business. Growing, evolving, pushing myself creatively, and building something I’m incredibly proud of. I’ve had the privilege of documenting so many beautiful stories, meaningful milestones, and intimate moments along the way.
And while I’ve never needed an award to validate the work I do, I’ve also realized there’s nothing wrong with being proud of what you’ve built and putting yourself out there.
So, with only about 10 days left for nominations, I figured… to hell with it. I’ll throw my hat in the ring. 🖤
If you’ve been in front of my camera, followed my work, or supported this little business of mine over the years, I’d be incredibly grateful for your nomination.
