Senior sessions will forever be one of my favorite things to photograph — the confidence, personality, excitement, and all the in-between moments that make each gallery completely their own.

Looking back at nine years of doing this full-time, it’s wild to think about how far this journey has taken me. I’m truly humbled that I get to wake up and create for a living.

Something NEW this year ⚽️🏀🏒⚾️

I grew up an athlete.

Soccer was my first love, and it set the course for everything that followed — D1 college, semi-pro, and three years playing club in Germany while my husband was stationed there. Sports have never been a phase for me; they’ve always been part of my lens on life.

Thirteen years ago, when I was pregnant with my oldest, I picked up a camera. Photography became a passion for me in the same way soccer has always been. In 2017, I left a corporate career to pursue it full time, and built a business photographing families, newborns, and brands over at .erica.d.

As my kids dive deeper into soccer, the memories flood back. I started seeing the game in a new way — not just as a player, but as a mother and an artist.

The joy of the game.�The grit.
The passion.�The personality it shapes.
What sports build in kids beyond the game.
This space is where my history on the pitch and my life behind the lens finally collide.
