I was at the car wash yesterday. As the sun set, I watched the shadows dance across the walls and captured the moment on my iPhone. I added music to the video, transforming it into art. 📸Ron Henry

THE CLASSIC RETRO CAMERA STRAP – RS-4 The RS-4 Classic by BLACKRAPID is a versatile camera sling perfect for photographers at any skill level. Initially introduced in 2008, this innovative sling “turned the world upside down” – setting a new standard and inspiring a major shift in how photographers carry their gear. Designed for both Left and Right handed shooters. Due to continued demand, we brought back the original RS-4 in 2018 as a limited edition, but its popularity ensured its return for good. We hear you and we thank you for your loyalty!

The updated RS-4 Classic Retro features a slim, straight, low-profile pad and easy front adjustment, built from high-performance materials and hardware for maximum durability. Its simple, compact design makes it perfect for travel photographers or for a leisurely walk or bike ride around your home city.

“There’s no way I could navigate the rugged, terrain and beaches of the Dominican Republic on my latest feature film without the support of BlackRapid Camera straps. Especially cool that I get to use my mate and fellow Still Photographer, Jasin Boland Jason Boland’s Black Camo Sport Camera Sling on this latest project. Thank you, Ron and everyone at BlackRapid for always supporting me on and off the set.”- Frank Masi FrankMasiPhotography

The Sport camera sling is comfortable and fast. The original cross-body sling, this distributes the weight more comfortably on your shoulder rather than your neck, while putting your camera at-the-ready by your right hip.

I stopped by Kenmore Camera today, and what a fantastic store! They truly have everything a photographer could need. If you’re in the market for a new strap, definitely check out the BlackRapid camera sling—you can see it in person or browse their selection online. Also, be sure to spend some time looking through their impressive stock of used gear; there are some great finds to be had. And as a bonus, it’s pretty cool that the owner, Bob, rides his red Ducati to work. You’ve gotta love that! I highly recommend checking them out. Ron BLACKRAPID founder
