I’ve started and deleted this post more times than I can count.

The truth is, WillowTree Photography has been a dream, a creative outlet, and a piece of my heart for a long time…But sometimes life asks us to slow down and reevaluate where our energy is going.

With some important family matters and the needs of my children taking priority, I’ve made the difficult decision to close my photography business and dissolve my LLC.

I never wanted to offer anything less than my very best to my clients, and right now I simply don’t have the capacity to give this business the attention it deserves.

To every person who booked a session, shared my work, recommended me, or cheered me on…thank you from the bottom of my heart . You helped make this dream possible.

This isn’t a goodbye. It’s a “see you later.” Maybe someday I’ll pick up my camera professionally again. For now, I’m choosing to be present for the people who need me most.

Sooo I’ve been absent..

Let’s talk about it .. 👇🏽👇🏽

My camera broke during a time when I was already feeling pretty low creatively, and it honestly hit harder than I expected. Photography is such a big part of who I am, or so I thought?..

so losing that outlet for a while really set me back mentally.

I do have a new camera now (and I’m so grateful for that), but if I’m being honest…I’ve been navigating some family challenges behind the scenes, and balancing everything has been a lot. Some days it feels like I’m falling a little short, but I’m doing my best to move through it with grace.

Creativity doesn’t always just “turn back on,” and I’m learning to give myself that same grace while I rebuild that spark.

If you’ve stuck around while I’ve been quiet, thank you. It means more than you know. I’m still here, just taking things one step at a time 🌿

I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported me and my work. I know I’ve been a little quiet lately, and I truly appreciate your patience and understanding.

Right now, my kids need me, and I’m choosing to step back and focus on them during a difficult season for our family. Because of that, my books will be paused for the time being, and I’m not sure yet when they’ll reopen.

For any clients I’ve already made prior arrangements with, I will absolutely be following through as planned!

This wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s the one my heart knows is right. Thank you for the grace, kindness, and support you’ve always shown — it means more than I can say. 🤍
