When a man invests in himself, everyone wins.

I’ve watched this pattern repeat hundreds of times. A guy puts skin in the game. Goes all in. Does the work. And within weeks, the shift is undeniable. Within months his career explodes. His health transforms. His relationships deepen. His confidence returns.

But here’s what blows my mind: it’s not just him that changes. It’s his family. His team. His employees. Everyone around him feels it.

Some come through family support. Some earn every dollar themselves. Either way, the ones who put in the work all see the same result: breakthrough.

We’ve built a team to make it happen. Coaching. Clinical psychology. Addiction counseling. Somatic therapy. Plant medicine guidance. Holistic practitioners. Real human support across every angle of transformation.

The work is real. The results are real.

you are a trooper! This was such a good time. You don’t only tell people about living life to the fullest, you actually go out there and do it yourself as well. That’s the person you want helping you. You practice what you preach and that’s the best kind! 💙💪

There’s a lot of people that are lost in life, how do I know that? Because I get calls all week long from people that do not know what to do with their life.

I know I never pressure anybody to work with me, but the universe has its way of bringing the right people to me when they are ready. We designed our life together, and a life that has full of purpose and fulfillment.

I have rebuilt myself three or four times and I’m only 36 years old. Made millions lost it. Years of sobriety that I relapsed. Lost all of my family to mental health and addiction. Lost more friends than I have fingers and toes and yet I still stand here.

There is no judgment working with me and I think that this is what most people feel. I am in no place to judge, but I am in a place to help rebuild your life with you. Go to epicjourneyrecovery.com.

There is always this fear that sobriety is going to be very boring. Let me be the first to tell you, it will be the complete opposite. Epicjourneyrecovery.com

If you’re a high performer using substances to keep up, you’re not alone.

More energy. More confidence. More focus. For a while, it felt like the missing piece. And honestly? It worked. You built your career on it. Closed deals. Built a reputation. Kept up with the pace that most people couldn’t handle.

Until your body started rejecting it. Until your spouse started noticing. Until you tried to quit and realized you couldn’t.

Now you’re sneaking around. Showing up differently to clients, to bids, to your work. You’re not connecting with your wife the way you used to. Your kids are starting to notice. The reputation you spent years building is quietly starting to crack.

It doesn’t always fall apart all at once. Sometimes it’s just a slow trickle. But eventually, something gives.

Here’s the other side of that.

When you do this work, your energy shifts. People feel it before you say a word. You start attracting more, earning more, connecting again. People will ask you what’s different. You get your hobbies back. You come alive again.

But you can’t do this for your kids or your spouse or anyone else. You have to want it for you.

If you’re a high performer who knows something has to change but can’t walk away from your life for 30 days, this is what we built for you. Virtual programs, functional medicine, family and couples therapy, and a curriculum I’ve spent years developing.

Visit epicjourneyrecovery.com or send me a direct message. There’s a version of you on the other side of this that people are going to want to be around.

Credit to Joseph Yi ( ) for continuing to educate and bring awareness to this space. Delivery matters. Conversations like this are what help shift perspective.

I’m a strong advocate for psychedelic-assisted therapy when it is done responsibly, with proper screening, guidance, and integration. Over the years, through working in primary mental health and addiction treatment, I’ve seen both sides. I’ve seen people where this has been incredibly beneficial. I’ve also seen cases where underlying severe mental health conditions made it not the right fit.

That’s why education, set and setting, and especially integration are everything. The experience itself is only one part. What you do after, how you process it, and who is guiding you back into your life is what actually creates long-term change.

There is growing research showing that compounds like psilocybin may support neuroplasticity, meaning the brain’s ability to form new connections and patterns. This can play a role in treating depression, addiction, and other mental health challenges when done in the right environment.

We are also seeing movement in the U.S., with regulated programs like in Oregon and evolving policy in Colorado. Many individuals still travel outside the country for guided experiences.

For those who are treatment-resistant, people who have gone through 10, 20, 30 programs and continue to struggle, it may be time to explore different approaches as this field continues to evolve.

This is not about promoting anything illegal. This is about education, awareness, and having real conversations around what is actually helping people.

When done responsibly, with the right team and support, I’ve personally seen how profound and life-changing these experiences can be.

A lot of people are not okay, and the truth is, a lot of people are just really good at pretending that they are.

They show up, they smile, they handle business, they post like everything is fine, but internally they feel overwhelmed, anxious, or just tired.

And that is more common than people want to admit.

Neurologically, most people are running a pattern, a thought creates a feeling, that feeling creates a reaction, and over time that reaction becomes automatic.

For a lot of people, that reaction becomes masking.

In addiction, the brain gets trained to escape the feeling fast, drugs or alcohol become the shortcut to not feel.

In mental health, it can look like anxiety, shutting down, overthinking, isolating, or constantly staying busy to avoid what is underneath.

For others, it shows up as gambling, chasing the next win to change the feeling, or eating disorders, using control, restriction, or binging to cope with what is going on internally.

Different behaviors, same loop, thought, feeling, reaction.

If that is you, there is nothing wrong with you, but there is something to become aware of.

The shift starts small.

Slow the moment down, notice the thought, notice the feeling, and pause before the reaction.

Create space, whether that is a walk, journaling, or sitting without distractions.

Talk to someone you trust, you do not have to carry everything alone.

You do not need to have it all figured out, you just need to interrupt the pattern.

That is where real change begins.

April 2026, the landscape of addiction in the United States continues to evolve, and the risks have never been higher.

Recent data shows that more than 80,000 overdose deaths are still occurring annually, with the majority linked to synthetic opioids like fentanyl. What distinguishes this era is not just the volume of deaths, but the unpredictability, individuals are no longer only dying from prolonged addiction, but from single exposures, counterfeit pills, and substances unknowingly laced.

Alcohol remains one of the most pervasive and underestimated drivers of mortality, contributing to well over 100,000 deaths each year, while continuing to be normalized in everyday life.

At the clinical level, treatment providers are reporting a noticeable rise in cases involving 7-hydroxymitragynine, a highly potent alkaloid found in kratom products. Once marketed as a safer alternative, it is now presenting with clear patterns of dependency, withdrawal, and increasing admissions into detox and structured care environments.

Parallel to the public health crisis is the continued strain on the criminal justice system, where a significant portion of arrests and incarcerations remain tied to substance-related offenses, often without meaningful access to treatment or long-term recovery support.

Within this environment, the role of the interventionist has become increasingly critical. No longer limited to facilitating difficult conversations, intervention today serves as a strategic point of disruption, creating an opportunity for immediate action before the next overdose, the next arrest, or the next irreversible outcome.

In an era defined by fentanyl and evolving substance use patterns, waiting for a “bottom” is no longer a viable approach. Timely intervention is not only beneficial, it is often the difference between life and death.

Until you have done an intervention, you have not done everything you can.

This one hits me, because I talk to families every single week who have the means, but hesitate when it’s time to act. You’ll protect your money, your comfort, your lifestyle, but not take the step that could actually save your loved one’s life.

Sell the Rolex, man.

Hoping it changes, sending them to therapy once a week, or waiting for them to “figure it out” is not a plan. When someone is actively using or spiraling, the environment has to change.

Interventions work. Research and clinical reports have shown that structured, professionally guided interventions significantly increase the likelihood of someone accepting treatment, often cited in the range of 70 to 90 percent when done properly through models like the Johnson Intervention.

Because it’s not just a conversation, it’s a coordinated moment. Every heartbeat that matters, in one room, speaking truth, speaking love, and presenting a real plan.

I’ve worked with thousands of people and been part of hundreds of these, and I’ve seen what happens when families finally step into action. It shifts everything.

If you have the means, do the intervention, get them into treatment, stop waiting.

If you don’t have the means, reach out to someone who does this. There are people who will guide you, help you structure it, and show you exactly how to do it the right way.

But doing nothing, or doing the bare minimum, while hoping it changes, that’s a decision too.

At some point, love has to look like action.
