Layla's Project to Fight Hunger Layla crossed over the Rainbow Bridge unexpectedly on Dec. 30, 2021. Her spirit will forever live i Layla was a special dog.

I am honoring her with a legacy project that befits her and her breed. Like most Labrador Retrievers, she is food-motivated, and she has always been hungry. No one should need worry about where their next meal will come from, yet there is a huge need for many people here in Pierce County.
