• from wedding bells to baby giggles — some things really do come full circle! 🌲📸

Almost two years ago, we had the pleasure of filming Cameron + Bella’s wedding day, and with their anniversary coming up next week, it was extra special to catch up with these two during their recent family session in St. Charles!

This time around, we got to see them in their newest (and sweetest) roles yet — Mom + Dad! And of course, we couldn’t forget the star of the show, little CJ, who celebrated with his very first cake smash!

Out of respect for Mom + Dad’s wishes, we won’t be sharing any photographs of CJ, but we couldn’t resist sharing a few of our other favorites of them two from this sweet session. The rest are special memories saved just for them!

Cameron + Bella, it was so great catching up with you both and seeing how much life has changed since your wedding day. From documenting the beginning of your marriage to capturing these new chapters as a family, it’s such a privilege to be invited back for life’s biggest milestones.

• from the proposal to the engagement session — Cody + Abigail are making it pretty easy for us to fall in love with their love story! 🍂📸

This isn't our first rodeo with these two! Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of capturing their proposal and walked away with some of the neatest, most unique photographs we've ever taken. Needless to say, we've been looking forward to getting these two back in front of our cameras ever since — and their engagement session did NOT disappoint!

Cody + Abigail are absolute naturals in front of the camera. Pair that with a gorgeous Missouri sunset, those incredible autumn colors and a whole lot of love, and you've got yourself a little bit of magic. We're so thankful they've trusted us to document such a special chapter of their lives.

• a little autumn magic, a whole lot of love & one incredible wedding day.. 🍂💍

We're convinced that October was showing off for Bryce + Cheyenne! Between the vibrant fall foliage, a picture-perfect sunset and a stunning venue tucked away in Sainte Genevieve, Missouri — these two couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting to begin their next chapter together.

From the thoughtfully planned details to the gorgeous scenery, their celebration was nothing short of spectacular. But as much as we loved capturing all of the big moments, some of our favorite photographs came when the formalities were over and these two could simply slow down, soak it all in and enjoy being newlyweds. Those genuine, unscripted moments are what make every wedding story so special to us.

And now, we're finally getting to share a little glimpse of it all! We had an incredible time documenting this celebration, and narrowing down our favorites for these teasers was no easy task. Trust us, there's plenty more where these came from! Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Gegg!

• a little golden hour magic with some of our favorite people. 🤎🍂

Meet the Bertholomeys + Grooms — a family that holds a pretty special place in our heart! A few weeks back, we caught the PERFECT fall evening in a family friend's field, just as the sun was setting. The weather, the lighting, the people — everything was absolutely perfect.

We've had the pleasure of photographing so many members of this family over the years, but we genuinely think this session might take the cake. We're SO happy with how they turned out, and of course, very thankful to spend an evening with some of our favorite people!

Some families leave a lasting impression on your heart, and this one is certainly no exception. 🤎🍂

I had the honor of spending a beautiful fall evening with Kayla, Richard and their family at their homestead, capturing moments that mean a little more than words can express.

This session carried a special kind of tenderness, as the family continues to navigate life without their sweet Ruby. While she may not be physically present in these photographs, there’s no question that her love and memory remain woven into every part of this family’s story. In a beautiful tribute to her, the family dressed in ruby-colored tones and thoughtfully included a framed photograph of her in many of their portraits. A simple, yet incredibly meaningful reminder that she will always have a place in their family photographs, just as she will always have a place in their hearts.

The love, grace and strength this family possesses is something truly remarkable. They are some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet, and I hope these photographs serve as a beautiful reminder of the love that surrounds them, the memories they hold close and the moments still worth celebrating.

Kayla & Richard, thank you for trusting me to document this chapter of your family’s story. It was an honor, and one I won’t soon forget.

• from “I do” to a growing family — getting to document life’s biggest chapters never gets old. 🏀📸

Jaeden + Emma have quickly become two of our favorite people to have in front of the camera. We had the pleasure of documenting their wedding day last October, celebrated their growing family with a maternity session this past summer, and now we’ve officially met the newest (and tiniest) member of the Smith family — Mr. Creed!

At this point, “clients” doesn’t really fit anymore — we just call each other friends. Getting to visit their first home together, catch up, play with the cats and document these first moments as a family of three made this session that much more special.

Jaeden + Emma, congratulations on your beautiful little boy. He is absolutely perfect, and we’re so thankful you continue to trust us with each new chapter of your story.

• after nearly two decades photographing weddings, it’s not often that we get to experience a “first” anymore — but, this one was just that!

Levi + Trai said “I do” last month at Cuba, Missouri’s newest wedding venue, LakeView Farm Weddings and Events, LLC — and, they were the very first couple to do so. Which also means we had the honor of being the first photographer to document a wedding there. It’s a beautiful venue that will surely be enjoyed by couples and their guests for many years to come.

There’s also something special about working a wedding in the same town where first began. As expected, there were familiar faces everywhere & plenty of catching up took place. It made an already memorable day that much more enjoyable to be a part of! Levi + Trai were incredibly kind, easygoing & an absolute pleasure to spend the day with.

Congratulations, newlyweds — we hope you love your teasers as much as we do!

• SOME SESSIONS ARE JUST A LITTLE EXTRA MAGICAL.. ✨🎈

Last weekend took us to Forest Park in St. Louis for one of the neatest family sessions we’ve ever had the opportunity to photograph — at the balloon race!

We absolutely love when clients want to step outside the box and do something a little different. If you have an idea that’s out of the norm, chances are we’re going to be 100% game — and this session is exactly why!

Not only did we have the incredible backdrop of hot air balloons filling Forest Park, but we also got to celebrate Miss Maeva’s FIRST birthday! Mom and Dad absolutely nailed her setup — from the basket and birthday hat to the floating balloons, Maeva had people passing by stopping in their tracks with plenty of “awhs” along the way.

And really… can you blame them? She completely stole the show.

Thank you to Brandon + Lauren for letting us capture such a fun, colorful and completely one-of-a-kind milestone for their family. We hope there are many more sessions to come!

Couples like this are why we fell in love with weddings in the first place. 🤍📸

We first met Ashton + Viridiana last summer during their engagement session, and from the very beginning it was clear they had something special. Kind, genuine, full of laughter, and completely in step with one another — it didn't take long to know their wedding day would be just as enjoyable.

Yet somehow, it exceeded every expectation.

Viridiana was absolutely breathtaking, Ashton looked sharp as ever, and every part of the day felt authentic. From an emotional first look with the father of the bride to a reception that turned into an unforgettable celebration — crowd surfing, dollar bills flying through the air, and a dance floor so full of energy we could hardly decide where to point our cameras — it was one of those nights you never want to end.

Ashton + Viridiana, thank you for trusting us with one of the biggest days of your lives. The love surrounding you was impossible to miss, and after spending the day with your family and friends, it's easy to understand why. It was an absolute honor to tell your story. Congratulations to you both!

• some weddings are special because of the moments. Others are special because of the people. This one was both. 💍🥂

This past weekend, we had the privilege of documenting Jacob + Sarah’s Wedding Day — and for us, it was a reminder of just how incredible it is to watch life come full circle.

Long before cameras, timelines, and wedding films.. there was a friendship that started back in childhood. Jacob and I never could have imagined that one day I'd be documenting one of life's biggest milestones for him and his wife, yet somehow.. there we were.

What stood out most throughout the day wasn't just the history behind it all, though. It was the way Jacob + Sarah looked at one another. The quiet moments. The laughter. The effortless way they moved through the day together. It's easy to see that these two have found something truly special.

Jacob + Sarah, thank you for trusting us to tell your story. It was an honor to celebrate alongside you and preserve these memories for generations to come. Congratulations, newlyweds!
