CHRISTMAS MINIS:
Have moved some around to accommodate more areas and to include truck set again so here are my two options! I will be taking most of the month of December off again this year to recoup and be with family so DM on Instagram or use contact form on website to secure these spots!

This beaut that usually helps couples tie the knot got to walk down the aisle herself this weekend and gift her hubby with some spicy photos 🌶
So happy to have met and formed not only a professional relationship with Jenna but also get to consider her a friend now.

We SOLD and BOUGHT a new home in 24 HOURS! The best part? It’s only 20 minutes away from our current one so NOTHING changes for me business wise 😍

With that being said I know I’ve been a little quiet on here through the craziness but 𝙶𝙾 𝙴𝙽𝚃𝙴𝚁 𝙼𝚈 𝙶𝙸𝚅𝙴𝙰𝚆𝙰𝚈 for some EPIC fall sunflower minis and also photographers stay on the lookout for a MINI STYLED SHOOT that day in the field as will be very limited availability.

Why am I posting a Christmas picture in Summer? 🎄
Last year my holiday schedule was CRAZY leading up to Pipers birth and I stopped taking sessions the last week of November.
While I may not be pregnant this year the time with family during the holidays was so needed I decided to stop sessions after my December 4th mini date this year!

Everyone meet my hairdresser and tattoo artist 😍
Not only are they hot models, they are rad humans as well.
Also swipe to the second pic to see some of the amazing vendor’s stuff who attended including this awesome mobile airstream salon.
Also as far as venues can’t say enough good things about Abby’s Farm. We had this airstream, a mobile coffee bar, and a big cotton candy cart all with plenty of room left to do other set ups. HIGHLY recommend any engaged couples touring before making your decision 💕

I want to start off by saying..
Elopements aren’t for everyone!
Some people want all their friends and family there and that’s OKAY. I decided to make the switch for a few reasons that were all personal and nothing to do with bigger weddings being a bad thing.
For me it came down to:
1. 𝕀’𝕄 𝔸 𝕋ℝ𝔸𝕍𝔼𝕃 𝔸𝔾𝔼ℕ𝕋-
This means I’m literally LICENSED to create trips catered to you.
2. 𝕀ℕ𝕋𝕀𝕄𝔸ℂ𝕐-
As someone who shoots couple’s bo***ir as well, I enjoy getting intimate shots and working more exclusively with my couples rather than needing to focus a large chunk of your day on bridal party and family shots.
3. 𝔾𝕐ℙ𝕊𝕐/𝕄𝔼ℝ𝕄𝔸𝕀𝔻 𝕊𝕆𝕌𝕃-
If you know anything about me, it’s that I am always planning our next trip and 9/10 times it’s to somewhere tropical with a high chance of a shark encounter. With that being said, if I haven’t been to the destination you’re wanting I probably know someone that has and will make sure we make it a truly unforgettable experience!

As everyone knows by this point bc I’m annoying this Wednesday me and Jenna from hosted a styled shoot. It was my first and in complete transparency I was TERRIFIED. For anyone but especially running your own business, failure is terrifying. I’m by no means established in the photography community, scrap a gallery and start from scratch at least once a week bc I feel like my work is crap, and when we toured the venue and decided to make the event even bigger quite frankly I didn’t think I could pull it off. Two weeks after posting and we only had one ticket sale I almost called it off.
When crying to husband one night he said “the worst that happens is you fail and learn” and he said it like failing was NOTHING.
Continued working my tail off for it and we ended up having over 10 photographers attend on a weekday traveling from Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, and West Virginia with over 30 attendees including models and vendors and at the end of the night people were asking when the NEXT one was 😱
Literally mind blown and so thankful for the support system I have, the friends I made, and my new styled shoot partner Jenna 😘
Moral of the story: if you have a dream, DO THE D #%^ THING, the worst that’ll happen is you fail and learn and try again💕

DISCOUNTED SESSION:
I had to move a sweet little family around for next weekend and now have a 10:30 am next Sunday the 13th at this fun studio perfect for just about any session you can think of. (Also has a tub!)

Sometimes I feel like I have to post the most technical photos as far as sharpness, lighting, and check all the imaginary photographer boxes I’ve made for myself as I know most others do....
However there was so much perfect in the imperfect parts of this where the was so much movement happening there was also so much joy ✨
