Wedding day details that I’m still drooling over 8 months later 💕

Every detail of this day was so filled with intention from the flowers grown in Claire’s mom’s garden, the hand painted menus, to the venue itself playing such a meaningful role.

I’m not sure if everyone is lucky enough to be able to pin point the exact people who have helped grow their business over many years but I feel excessively lucky to have that privilege.

I met Sam & Daniela in March 2021, I actually have no clue how they found me to do their engagement photos, but a 1 hour session with their sweet pup in Kirkland has single handedly introduced me into the most special friend group over these past 5 years.

I could never have imagined how special it would be to get to watch alongside over these past several years as new family’s were created, new babies introduced, and all the new people that we’ve get to know along the way.

These are the people who make working every weekend over the summer 1000000000x worth it & I can’t tell you how special every single one of these days has been to be a part of.

Once a year for the past 5-6 years I travel out of state & treat myself to a photography retreat or workshop as a way to refresh my mind focus on having fun taking pictures versus always feeling like work. Only problem is, then we get busy & I almost never share them!

We’re going to spend this week changing that! So here’s some absolutely ethereal moments from my time in New Orleans!

Spend 14 days traveling across 700 miles of gorgeous Tanzania with us🦒 A condensed breakdown of our trip on the last slide ☺️

A few huge shoutouts from this trip, first and foremost our guide was the BEST, we feel so lucky to have gotten to spend a week learning from him.

A huge shoutout to for helping us plan this trip, 2 separate continents and countries, 6 accommodations, it was such a blessing to not have to worry about transportation or anything because Lisa helped set up EVERYTHING!

Grateful doesn’t even scratch the surface.

This year was filled with such thoughtfully planned celebrations, meaningful moments, & couples who trusted us with one of the most important days of their lives. From intimate vows to dance floors so packed I could barely make my way through the crowd, each day brought reminders of why experience, preparation, and presence matter SO much in this line of work.
