More to come of this fun urban family shoot BUT I just wanted to stop and give some love to this beautiful mama and her kiddos.

I have been taking photos of them since forever and I am so thankful for it. It is such an amazing feeling to have a family’s unwavering loyalty and trust. Not to mention the privilege of seeing the kids year after rest and be amazed at how they’ve grown year after year.

Being a family photographer is the best hands down guys!!!

It’s funny. For a big amount of 2022 I hardly had any newborn sessions booked. 2023 hit and that’s what a majority of my bookings have been. Believe me, I don’t mind it one bit.

Expecting a baby? Let’s chat!

It’s best to start inquiring with photographers while your pregnant if you’re interested in booking a newborn session. That what your chosen photographer can reserve a few potentially spot for you on their calendar once the baby arrives. This is definitely the best way.

That doesn’t mean to not try to find a photographer once the baby arrives if you haven’t booked. It’s still possible. It’s even possible to get that “newborn look” after your newborn has past the ideal age for a newborn session. Just look at this handsome little guy, he was perfectly content being swaddled at a little over 2 months. Isn’t he adorable?!

My youngest, my baby boy turns 10 tomorrow!! I must can not believe it. Where’d the time go?!!

Made me think that now would be a good time to states some specially moments of this adorable newborn session.

This style of newborn photography currently has my heart. What do you think? Is this your jam as well? I am so excited I have another lifestyle newborn session coming up on Friday!

The beauty to me of this time of the year is getting to spend quality time with my kids… even if that means I have to harass them to get it.

That’s the reality of motherhood often times. If you don’t fight to make things happen, it won’t happen. Just like getting portraits done for memories with your babies. You need to just make it happen!! Before the time is gone.

Now excuse me while I go yank electronics out of me kids hands!!

Shame on me for not sharing this little cutie patootie‘s cake smash sessions with everyone sooner!!!

If you’re looking for a photographer who is big on themed cake smash sessions, then I may not be the right fit for you. Don’t get me wrong, I love admiring those type of sessions but it is not my jam personally. I wouldn’t want to say yes to a session knowing I am not passionate about it, it wouldn’t be right.

I have some amazing photographer friends I could recommend you to if you are on the hunt for a photographer that offers big themed cake smash session styling.

If more simple, natural styled cake smash sessions such as this is what you envision for your little ones cake smash, then let’s chat! I’d love to work with you.
