From 14:29 for a 2 miles on Thursday to 13:44 on Monday. I reduced my time by 45 seconds by adding strength workout daily or almost daily. This half marathon training has thought me a lot especially the mistakes I made along the way, from never been injured to suffer from IT Band in both knees. If I had to back on time I would have done it differently. So if you are new to running please to not increase your daily mileage too fast. Give your body the time to adapt and add little by little weekly not daily. It’s not because you think you can run longer that it is good for you. Learn about your body first, learn about strides and pacing and posture and learn about breathing techniques and learn about using your arm properly, learn to warm up properly for the run, learn to be patient. Train hard doesn’t mean hurt yourself. it’s good that the gym stays open till 10pm
