4 is a crowd, 5 is a party!
I said to my best friend, “How crazy is it that this is where we are in life?” She and I have spent our pr***en, teenage and adult seasons together. I think that’s what feels the most surreal. We have watched each other grow through nearly every stage of life and now see each other as mothers. There’s something special about growing up alongside someone and somehow finding your way into the same chapter again and again. I’m so grateful that we’ve been with each other through it all.

I took my girl out into the pasture for her birthday portraits and she brought her friend. It reminded me that these moments are the ones I’ll miss the most. Not just her sweet little face, but the things she’ll eventually outgrow.
