Some love stories shine even brighter when the weather doesn’t cooperate.
Yesterday, I had the honor of photographing a beautiful couple as they exchanged vows at St. Augustine Church in Washington, DC, followed by an elegant celebration at Archer Hotel in Tysons, Virginia.
Despite the challenging, windy weather, my beautiful Meredith carried herself with such grace, elegance, and confidence. She looked absolutely stunning in her gorgeous gown, but what made her even more beautiful was the kindness and warmth she carried within. A true reminder that beauty is not only what you see on the outside, but also what shines from within.
As a photographer, these are the moments I love most — capturing not just how a wedding looks, but how it feels. The genuine emotions, the quiet elegance, and the love that makes every frame meaningful.
Dante was ready to pop the ch*****ne, but the wind had a plan of its own… and Meredith ended up covered in ch*****ne! Not exactly the moment they planned, but definitely one they’ll never forget. Sometimes, the most unexpected moments make the best memories!

A beautiful wedding at The Omni Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, Virginia, where the weather had its own plans, and we brought the celebration indoors. The result? An intimate, elegant ceremony and a stunning reception filled with unforgettable moments.
From the couple’s signature cocktail 🍸 to the late-night donut treats , every detail made the celebration uniquely theirs. And to close the night, we captured the newlyweds sharing a moment together at the bar — the perfect ending to a day full of love, laughter, and memories.

Some wedding days bring a little rain, a little adventure, and a whole lot of magic.
This past Saturday, October 10, at The Mulberry at Old Trade Farm, we celebrated a beautiful couple whose wedding day unfolded with a storm approaching and a light drizzle in the air. But a little rain couldn’t take away from the beauty of their day! We were still able to capture their outdoor ceremony and create the most magical, romantic portraits.
From the heartfelt ceremony to the dessert station that was an absolute HIT, every detail made this celebration so special. And just when we thought the day couldn’t get any more magical, we ended the evening with a beautiful sparkler send-off!
Because sometimes, the most unforgettable wedding photographs come from the days that don’t go exactly as planned. And as a photographer, those are the moments I love turning into art.

Yesterday was such a special day.
Some couples become so much more than just clients—they become people you genuinely care about and are grateful to call friends.
I’ve known this beautiful family for a few years, after photographing the bride’s sister’s wedding, so being there to capture another special chapter for their family felt incredibly meaningful.
They were so much fun, kind, and humble, and the energy in the room was simply amazing. There was so much love, laughter, and joy throughout the entire day.
This wedding was truly one of the highlights of my year, and I cannot wait to deliver their full gallery. I already know it’s going to be a special one.

Some love stories are elegant, classic, and beautifully quiet.
Yesterday brought rain and wind, but their energy was calm, effortless, and completely in love. Even though the weather wasn’t cooperating, they made photographing them feel so easy. We even managed to create beautiful outdoor portraits without getting them wet.
A chic, timeless wedding at 2941 Restaurant in Falls Church, VA—proof that even a stormy day can look incredibly elegant when the love story is this beautiful.
