I couldn’t possibly tell you how many times I have threatened to quit. (Insert eye roll.)

Whenever a mini-session I’ve posted barely books:

“That’s it. I suck. I’m done.”

Whenever a shoot doesn’t go exactly as I had planned:

“That’s it. I’m done.”

Whenever I’ve had an SD card fail or a hard drive overheat:

“That’s it. I’m done. No, I’m REALLY done this time.”

And when thousands of dollars worth of camera gear, along with my car, were stolen:

“That’s it. This is a sign from God. I’m done FOR REAL this time. I am soooo over it all.”

And honestly, the list of all my near career-ending “I quit” moments could go on and on
.and on and on!

I have no idea what my life would look like today if I had actually followed through on even one of those threats to quit. I would like to think my house would be cleaner and I would be leaner (who am I kidding 😂)

But I do know exactly what I would have missed.

So, here’s one example

He was my boys’ basketball coach first and then she was my daughter’s volleyball coach next—and we got front row seats to their real-life modern day Rom-Com. We got to watch them fall in love (it was so sweet), break up (we were all devastated ), then get back together (we rejoiced), get married (we thanked the Lord), and then begin their beautiful life together (and it was all about time for Mr.Culver. He wasn’t getting any younger). đŸ„č
