Slow Morning Sessions ☕️
The pancakes, pajamas, coffee mugs, crumbs on the table, and little moments that somehow become the ones you miss most later.

These in-home sessions are designed to feel less posed and more like your real life — warm, nostalgic, and full of connection. 🤍

500 Followers • 2 Cities • 2 stories 🫶

Three weeks ago, I packed up my babies, my camera, and this tiny little dream and headed to Buffalo from Alabama not knowing what would come from it.

Now somehow this page has connected me with so many incredible women, families, and small businesses from both the Shoals and WNY — and I truly can’t thank y’all enough for supporting me, sharing my work, and trusting me with your stories.

So to celebrate 500 followers, I want to give back in the sweetest way I know how.

I’ll be choosing:
✨ one Buffalo story
✨ one Shoals story

This could be:
• a hardworking mom
• a woman-owned business
• a family in a beautiful or difficult season
• someone who deserves to feel seen
• someone quietly carrying a lot right now

The selected person/family will receive a complimentary storytelling session with me 🫶

To nominate someone, tag them below 🤍
(make sure you’re following my page so I can contact the winners!)

Thank y’all for being here. Seriously.

WORKING WOMEN’S WEDNESDAY 🩷

This week’s feature is Bougie Buffalo — a sweet little boutique inside McKinley Mall offering bamboo clothing, upscale children’s consignment pieces, and products from other local vendors throughout WNY.

Behind the storefront is a mama of FOUR balancing motherhood, business ownership, community, and creating a space that feels warm the second you walk in.

I think what stood out to me most wasn’t just the shop itself — it was the heart behind it. Women supporting women. Local families supporting local families. Small businesses making room for other small businesses to grow, too.

She was endlessly kind to me from the moment I walked in, and honestly, this feature reminded me why I’m falling in love with Western New York so quickly.

Buffalo really does show up for its people. 💙🦬

Know a woman-owned business in the Buffalo/Niagara area that deserves a feature? Tag them below.

On a Sunday, while most people were resting, this family was working to build something bigger than themselves.

Théoden’s Fellowship wasn’t just a fundraiser — it was a room full of love, advocacy, exhaustion, patience, community, and hope all existing together at once. A day dedicated to raising awareness for autism and creating a space where families feel seen, understood, and supported.

What stayed with me most wasn’t perfection or posed smiles. It was the way they loved him exactly as he is. The way they moved with him instead of against him. The quiet teamwork. The constant attentiveness. The kind of love that asks for nothing in return except for your child to feel safe.

And behind all of that is a mother and father learning life in real time too. No manual. No roadmap. Just showing up day after day and doing it beautifully anyway.

Thank you to Théoden’s Fellowship for letting me witness such a meaningful day.

buffalo is finally starting to feel warm again. 🌷
morning light through the tulips, the playground waking up behind us, and a baby that wanted to be tossed in the air more than he wanted to sit still.

Working Women’s Wednesday — Buffalo Edition 🤍

Yesterday I got to spend time with the woman behind Friendship Village Play Cafe — a mom of five, former educator, former swim coach, and creative soul who built a space designed for children to play, imagine, and simply be kids.

What people don’t always see behind businesses like this is how much work, risk, and sacrifice goes into keeping them running.

It’s easy to say ‘we need more places like this.’
But creating safe, clean, welcoming spaces for families isn’t easy — and it definitely isn’t cheap.

Behind every small business is usually someone staying late, stressing quietly, juggling family life, pouring their heart into something they hope serves their community well.

And honestly?
You can feel that heart when you walk through these doors.

As a mom new to Buffalo, I can already tell spaces like this matter — not just for kids, but for parents looking for connection and community too.

Working Women’s Wednesday exists because women deserve to be seen in every season:
the building season,
the exhausted season,
the hopeful season,
and the ‘I’m figuring it out as I go’ season too.

You can find Heidi Pare with Friendship Village Play & Cafe at 85 Lake Ave In Blasdell, NY 🤍✨
