What a joy it was to celebrate our first wedding anniversary over the weekend 🤍 Recently I read a quote that said, “We have learned to dance in the rain just as much as we’ve enjoyed the sunshine.” I think that so sweetly sums up our wedding day as well as our first year of marriage. Marriage is such a gift!! I prayed for my husband since I was a little girl, and our story is such a testament of God’s faithfulness, love, and protection.

Happy one year of marriage, honey! 🤍 May 2nd was the wedding day of my dreams, but every day as your wife gets better and better!

Ps, your new song is on REPEAT. Thank you for releasing this song the weekend of our anniversary that makes me smile and remember how wonderful the rain is… even on a wedding day!!!

My friends are incredible moms. IN-CRE-DI-BLE! One of my favorite things in this season of life has not only been watching my friends grow their families and be the best parents, but also getting to watch their kiddos grow up. From holding them as newborns to hearing them call your name years later… 🥲

One of my favorite details about our wedding was the flower girl dresses — because they were mine. I was a flower girl twice when I was little. My family loved the dress so much after the first wedding I was in, that they bought the same dress for the second wedding a few years later. The two dresses have been saved for over 25 years. After getting engaged and knowing who our sweet flower girls would be (the daughters of one of my cousins, who would also be a bridesmaid), I wondered if the dresses would fit. And wouldn’t you know… the two Strasburg dresses saved after all of this time would be their EXACT sizes for our wedding day. It’s one of the smallest details that most probably didn’t even know, but it is one of the details from our wedding day that reminds me just how perfect God’s timing always is and always will be. 🤍
