I’m so excited for everyone experiencing the sky’s activity. Back in the 90’s while in North Dakota I would point my camera north and do long exposures only to see the northern light activity later when my film was processed. One year I placed my tepee beside a lake and woke around 3AM only to walk out and see waves of the northern lights dancing in a huge sky over the lake. I photographed them for about an hour and captured a few of my tepee with the citronella candle burning. Later we were blessed by Harper Collins Publishing using it for a book cover.
Even if you can’t see it with your eyes, point your camera north and capture some long exposures without flash.
